Hotel's Favourite
Just returned from a 3 night trip. Digital check in was down, as was room charges all day Friday and most of Saturday. Room was an end room. Seemed very large and very dated. Worn furniture but clean. Except for the dust on everything. Even after 2 house cleaning refreshes. Bathroom was small but survivable. Property is very old, shows it age. Pool deck is crumbling. See photos. Staff was fantastic. Brandon and front desk was nice, and professional and courteous via the Hilton App and in person. Some bumps in the road due to the systems being down and not getting my Diamond breakfast and food and beverage comps but over all good. Restaurant First staff was also very nice, though the, what Diamond should have had for free, was very poor they were cool. The Excutive lounge is worthless. Not restocked. Lucky to find a granola bar, cold old coffee. That's it. Soda was limited. No snacks during multiple visits. Never saw a person inside. Just close it.

Thank you for the review, Johnny! We love sharing our excellent service with each person who walks through our door. It's team members like Brandon who ensure our guests are getting the best level of service. It's also amazing you appreciated our spacious and comfortable accommodations. That's what we like to see! However, we regret that your stay with us was anything less than perfect. We apologize that some parts of your room weren't refreshed properly and that the condition of our hotel did not meet your expectations. We care deeply about the satisfaction of our guests and are saddened to hear that our restaurant and executive lounge experience fell short of your expectations as well. Please be assured that this is not the standard we aspire to. We've shared your concerns with the appropriate members of our team so that we may improve moving forward We can't wait until your next visit so we can share our high-caliber service with you. Have a beautiful day!

The gym has broken equipment and no air conditioning. The elevators were loud and one had to be shut down . Tile in elevators was cracked . Wallpaper in bathroom peeling. Hot water was off for almost 2 days - not hotel’s fault. Lots of unmasked people. The wifi ( paid extra for the high speed) repeatedly kicked me off and I was charged twice for one day . The only saving Grace was great staff in the restaurant and front desk. The location was also good and convenient for our needs, but actually the overall state of the hotel was not worthy of what I thought the Hilton brand would deliver.

Upon arrival we were assigned room 409. My usual routine is to pull back the covers to inspect the sheets and spray bedding with Lysol. When I pulled the covers back there were potato chip crumbs in the bed and the floor appeared dirty. I went down to the front desk and spoke with Leah the hotel front desk staff. She immediately assigned us to an executive king suite. This room was a lot bigger and cleaner. The hotel itself is in need of a renovation. The wallpaper was pealing from the walls in the bathroom, the toilet was placed at a slight diagonal in the very small bathroom which is not big enough for two people to occupy at the same time. This hotel needs to step is up because the location is great if you plan to visit Six Flags, ATT Stadium or the Texas Rangers. The hotel staff is excellent and very attentive to your needs. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and did not require you to wait long periods of time for pick up. This is not my first time at a Hilton as we are Hilton Honors members, but this one is was by far the worse one I’ve stayed in. Please give this hotel the upgrades it so badly needs.

Towanna, thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us. We regret that your first room did not meet our typical cleanliness standards, and are glad to hear that Leah was able to promptly assist with a better accommodation. As we strive for excellence, it's evident from your feedback that certain areas need our attention, particularly the decor and restroom fixtures. On a brighter note, we appreciate your compliments about our team's attentiveness and the convenient shuttle service. Feedback from loyal Hilton Honors members like you is invaluable in highlighting matters that need our immediate attention. Please be assured our management is carefully considering your input about necessary upgrades. Despite the drawbacks you experienced, we hope to have another opportunity to serve you in the future, possibly in a freshly modernized setting.

Great rates. Attentive and professional staff. Comfy bed. Strong shower water pressure and stable hot water temperature. Bartender was friendly. Good stay. This was priced around $125 which allowed me the full Hilton experience at Hampton Inn prices. Good stuff.

Hotel is fine for business. The walls are very thin and doors heavy and slam loudly, per most Hiltons. The lightbulbs are horrible, blue-tinted bulbs in the rooms, which mean the rooms are very dark and seem like a cheap motel. For that reason, I wouldn't stay there again. Depressing.

Stayed here twice for a total of two weeks in May/June. Have stayed here before and was prepared for the worst. Lived up to that expectation for sure. Used the app to checkin as the last time I was at this hotel the front desk was useless. I did manage to snag a suite on one of the stays, however that doesn't mean much. This is a tired and worn down property. The blue sueded furniture in the room has arms that are brown from years of use. Plenty of stains on them too. Televisions are slow to respond to the remote and sometimes have blown out speakers. Each floor does not have a working ice maker, so be prepared to either go up or down a floor(s). I awoke one night at 3 am to the lovely smell of weed being smoked in the hallway. The neighborhood where this hotel is located isn't the greatest anymore either. They do have a security person watching the parking lot all night, however I still did not feel 100% safe parking my car there. It is free though. Speaking of complimentary a year ago I could use my Hilton Diamond status for a free made to order breakfast in First restaurant on the first floor, now the food is a crummy buffet for twice as much money so you're $15 food and beverage credit will only cover half ($30). It is the equivalent of a low end Hampton Inn. It does have an executive lounge, which it seems like is a dying breed among Hilton properties these days, so there is that positive I guess.

I don't write a lot of reviews anymore but felt I needed to say a few words about a quick business trip to Arlington.
I stayed at the Arlington HIlton one night on 12 Aug 21. I made a quick reservation on the road from my Hilton app. When I arrived at the hotel I found out I had done something wrong and the reservation had not been made.
I had been on the road for several hours and I was annoyed that the reservation had fallen through. Reservations quickly helped me get the junior suite I thought I had booked and made me feel comfortable instead of just foolish.
The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and an excellent view. The AC unit worked well and had not been locked so that you could not cool the room. Since it was nearly 100 outside, a cool room is certainly a pleasure.
Dinner on site was very good with multiple choices that I was interested in. I had blackened shrimp tacos and they were very good.
I had espresso in the members lound early and then breakfast in the adjoining breakfast room. The avocado toast was a delight.
All in all, this hotel turned out to be everything a Hilton should be. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The physical plant is beautiful. The furnishings were comfortable. The food and service were great. I had a delightful stay and can recommend this property if you are ever in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

I reserved two rooms & paid in advance. When we checked in, the desk clerk advised we had $30 per room credit that we could use on snacks, meals, etc. I asked if we could use in the hotel's restaurant/bar that night and she said we could. The local television channels were not being received in the rooms the night we arrived (11/24/2022) due to problems with the hotel's provider, so the man in the other room & I went down to the restaurant to eat & watch the football game while our wives were shopping. I asked again if the room credit was good to use for the meal and the desk clerk said it was. We spent less than $30 for each of the meals & had the charges applied to the rooms, we told the restaurant waiter that we were using our available room credits. The next night, the same desk clerk reminded our family group that we had $30 credit per room to use; I told her that we had used the credits to purchase a couple of meals at the hotel restaurant and she advised she would ensure we received the room credits. The next morning I was emailed the room receipts and was surprised to find the hotel had charged my credit card for the two meals. Thinking there had been a mistake, I went to the front desk to have it corrected. Two of the desk clerks deferred to a third person, a woman I think may have been the lead worker. She told me I had been told wrong by the hotel's night clerk; after further discussion, she said that I could only receive one $30 credit, no matter how many rooms I had reserved. She became very condescending and rude. She said "for future reference you should know that you will get only one room credit, even if you book more than one room." I would rather think that I could believe what the Hilton Hotel clerk tells me when I check in and depend on that information. She finally said they would credit my account; I asked for a paper copy of my hotel receipt as proof and she refused to give me a paper receipt. More than 24 hours later, I've still not received the promised credit & I don't believe I will. If we had never been told we had been given $30 credit for each of the two rooms, we would have still ate the meals and there would be no question on paying the bill. At this point, however, I am extremely
irritated by how I was treated the morning of 11/27/2022 when I checked out. I'm a retired engineer/manager and have much experience dealing with the public: I assure you that the young woman I dealt with needs customer service/ public relations training!!

Room 1103 does not need to be rented out. The plumbing is terrible. The only thing that saved us from asking for a new room was the connecting room we had available to us. The toilet in 1103 barely flushed. The handle had to be held for 10 full seconds straight. The sink and bathtub both clogged when water was barley ran. There is no way I would shower in that bathroom. There was mint green toothpaste on the bathroom wall, and the baseboard wasn't attached to the wall, just lying on the ground. The gross chairs and dirty walls were also nice to look at. To charge over $300 a night was ridiculous. The location of this hotel was great for when we went to a concert at the new baseball stadium and the proximity to food was great. The AC also worked well in our room. With that said, the bathroom was so gross, I have NO idea how they can rent this room out.
