The Sheraton Arlington Hotel is often lauded for its excellent service, with many guests highlighting the friendly and professional staff. Some travelers, however, have pointed out occasional lapses in service. The hotel's amenities, including a complimentary trolley service and a praised breakfast buffet, contribute to its appeal, although guests would welcome microwaves in the rooms.
While rooms are generally comfortable with good beds, noise insulation has been a concern for some. Situated conveniently near sports venues and highways, the hotel's location is a significant draw. Reviews reflect a clean and calm environment, but opinions on value for money are mixed, with some guests expecting more amenities like covered parking.

This was our first stay here since the Texas Rangers went to the World Series to play the San Francisco Giants. The building exterior still looks the same and the lobby is large but a bit dated.
The checkin process was done quickly by the professional front desk staff. The hotel is like others by running with a minimum staff where both the casual and regular dining halls were closed. The coffee shop/gift store was also closed at the time of checkin, but a sign noted it closes at 1:00 PM. Breakfast is served in the casual restaurant and in the evening dinner at the main restaurant/bar. Sheraton makes you feel like this is a luxury hotel where outside they have a large pool with spa and koi pond.
We stayed in a club-level level with access to a private lounge. The lounge was stocked with water/soft drinks and coffee with light snacks. No alcohol was spotted. Supposedly breakfast was provided there in the morning where I checked and saw nothing, and dined downstairs. Our room was nice and modern with everything working. There was a mini refrigerator for drinks. The only negatives were I felt the room always felt warm even with AC turned low and the bed also felt warm while sleeping on it. Some floors have different vending machines where some only have drinks but others food snacks.
The Sheraton is walking distance to Globe Life Field and Esports Stadium Arlington. Looks like you could walk to Six Flags but there is the Arlington Trolly stop in front to take you to various tourist spots in the area including AT&T Stadium. The parking is free and felt safe.
The breakfast in the morning was excellent where could enjoy the buffet or order from a menu. The buffet included a person to make your a special omelet by picking out your own ingredients. She did a great job and mine was good.
Hopefully Marriott International with the new Loews hotels nearby plans on a major remodeling effort to update this hotel property. This one felt more laid-back and quieter than the nearby Loews with young partying into the late night after a Rangers game.

I stay at the Sheraton every week whenever I'm working down in Arlington and the hotel has always been great. The value is fantastic for the location and the staff, especially Marwan, is very accommodating. The rooms are a little old, but they do have a nice, large TV with Netflix and Youtube. The hotel restaurant is nothing special, but offers a good variety of options and a solid bar. When there isn't a pandemic the breakfast buffet is fully stocked and has a build your own omelet bar, which is a nice touch. All of the staff I've interacted with are prompt, polite, and really want to make sure your stay is comfortable. It's also a 5 minute walk from both Globe Life Fields and maybe a 15 minute walk from AT&T Field and Walmart.

For a Rangers game the location can’t be beat. Years ago I would attend an annual conference in May and get a chance to see a Rangers baseball game. What I loved was not having to deal with stadium parking and the crush to leave at the end of the game. I always wanted to take my son because he was always in school. Got the opportunity for an August game. Stayed in a room with two double beds. The staff was attentive. The room was a little pricey but that was a function of the game. There is a price for convenience. I have found that the store at the hotel closes early, (i.e. before a night game ends.) As the hotel isn’t in walking distance of a convenience store, it pays to plan ahead. The Rangers new and old stadiums are an easy walk although it is hades hot in Texas so wear good shoes and not cheap flip flops.
The hotel doesn’t disappoint as a place to stay and had easy access to the highway and several restaurants such Pappadeaux’s are only a few minutes away by car. The pool looks inviting and everybody in the pool always seems happy. I’d say the hotel is slightly more a convention hotel but while my son is 18 now, I’d happily have brought him when he was younger.

My husband and I visited for the first Cowboys home game on September 27th. I've stayed at this hotel before, (we try to visit Tx yearly for a game), and this was my favorite place to stay for home games, but after my last stay, I'm going to consider other options for next year.
First let me state that the staff was very friendly, and I appreciate the hard work and effort that they put in. I just want to be fair before I start explaining my low rating.
There were a number of things that I did not care for at just my last stay. All stays prior to covid were amazing. So I think I should say that because I am hoping this is just a covid slump this hotel was in.
Issues with my last stay: (Sept 2021)
1. For most of my stay only one elevator worked. Half of the time, that was the service elevator. Not fun.
2. We were told they do not do housekeeping during your stay because of covid. If I wanted to do make my bed and clean my bathroom, I would have stayed at an AirBnB. I've found that most places tell you that they do not make housekeeping rounds, but you can request service. I was told that I could call for more towels, or whatever we needed, but no service. I found it really annoying to have to ASK for toilet paper on our 3rd day, I mean, maybe I'm just spoiled, but it's really not the experience I expect from Sheraton.
We also found some abandoned baby toys in the room left by the last guest(s), so it made me question the quality of the cleaning done before my arrival. I let the front desk know, and they just advised me to throw them away. (So they are telling me to touch some toys handled by strangers, and put them into a trashcan in my room, that isn't going to be emptied until after I check out... ? hmmm.... not the most ideal situation considering covid tbh).
3. There was an option in the past to pay for a golf cart ride to the stadium for the game. This was no longer available. This was something that was really nice about picking this hotel. I'm sad it's not an option anymore.
4. The sports bar downstairs wasn't serving food after the game. They were just serving drinks and they looked crazy under staffed, we waited around for a while, but then ended up ubering to somewhere nearby for post-game food and drinks.
Maybe if I never stayed at this hotel before my rating would not be as low, just because I was expecting more because it was amazing in the past.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. I am hopeful that you will give us another opportunity to serve you in the future. We are now cleaning stay over rooms upon request. Covid cases are going down significantly in our county. We hope to be able to start cleaning all stayovers daily. Staffing continues to be an issue as it is every where. We here at the Sheraton loved the golf cart and bicycle cabs to help transport our guests to the game. Unfortunately, there is now a city ordinance halting these entrepreneurs from servicing the area. The bar is still crazy busy for game day, but we have been able to attract a few more servers! Come back when you can. Best Regards,

We arrived early on Thanksgiving day and knew our room would not be ready. Angel checked us in and I asked that he call or text me when our room was ready. I waited two hours and checked back with him and he said our room was ready, but why hadn't he contacted me? Not a good start, Angel was not helpful. Our king corner room on the 9th floor was just okay. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the entire conversations of the people in the adjoining room early in the morning and late into the night. The towels were rough, they need to use fabric softener. We are staying for 5 nights and they had a card in the room that said you had to request cleaning service if you were staying beyond one night. On day three we stopped by the front desk and asked for our room to be cleaned the following day. We also advised them that the safe in our closet was not working. We stopped by again the following morning to make sure our room would be cleaned. They assured us it would. When we left our room at 9:45AM we saw housekeeping in the room next to us, so we assumed our room would be next. The occupancy rate on this date was 4%. We returned at 4PM and our room was still not cleaned The housekeeper Karri was down the hall and said our room would be next. It was her second day of work and I know it was not her fault. She cleaned the room as quickly as possible and we were happy with her service. I went down to the front desk to ask why our room was not cleaned as requested and the supervisor at the desk could only say she was sorry but it was the housekeeping directors responsibility and I would have to talk to her. I did contact the housekeeping Director Pam Nichols over by the elevators but she was less than helpful. She could only say that the staff was trying to clean carpets and deep clean rooms since the hotel was so empty. She also said she was told that the 9th floor was empty, which of course was not true since we are here until Tuesday and this was Sunday. Total lack of communication. The best thing I can say about this hotel is the location if you are going to a Cowboy's game. It is walking distance to AT&T stadium. Today was the first sunny day we had here so we went to check out the pool and hot tub. We were very disappointed to see that the hot tub was very dirty. The fitness center was okay, but the equipment is old. Overall I would not stay here unless your only concern is how close you are to AT&T stadium.

Our check-in experience could not have been better. Our room was very nice except for our neighbor how must have been having a party. Our problem was with the room service. First it took 20 minutes to get them to answer the phone. When it was delivered, the gentleman did not leave us a receipt. THEN he came back to our room a second time to ask for his tip!!!!!! The total seemed too high to begin with so I called the front desk to ask that an itemized receipt be left at the desk at check out. It was there and every item was higher than listed on the menu and the 20% tip was INCLUDED. So the man that delivered the room service was looking for EXTRA tips while being giving horrible customer service.

We stayed at this hotel during the World Series in October. It was a nice hotel within walking distance to the ballpark. The hotel is centrally located near the Six Flags amusement park, both Globe Life Ball Parks, and the Football Stadium. There's also a virtual gaming stadium pretty much in the parking lot. The rooms were nice enough and the beds were comfortable. The pool area looked pretty cool too although we didn't use it. It is a bit older but and can be pricey during special events.

We have been coming back to this hotel whenever we in Arlington as we have great experience. The staffs here are the main highlights as they provide great service, friendly and attentive. Housekeeping is very thoughtful to leave us fresh towels although we don’t need room services. And Special mention goes to Barbara as she’s the cream of the pie! :) She is very pleasant, polite, positive and inspiring which is a great way to start my day!! Thank you to all staffs!! -R&S-

I have written about Marriott stays in the past and this one did not disappoint. I called to schedule the Shuttle in advance and was told this location did not have one. When we pulled up in the Uber, the Shuttle was parked out front. The gentleman that checked us in was quite rude. I chalked it up to a bad day for him. The next day we were out all morning and when we returned to the room it had not been cleaned. I called down to say that we were leaving in the afternoon and to please be sure our room was cleaned. After several back and forth about it with the woman on the phone, she finally told me that they were not cleaning rooms due to covid. I told her I was there for several nights and it would be eventually need to be cleaned. To which she replied that they would not and it was a policy at ALL Marriott's, again due to covid. So then I asked her how should I get actual things that I need and she told me if I called down they would bring whatever I needed. So right then, I ordered 4 regular coffee packets and some clean face towels for the morning. A few minutes later I received 4 DECAF coffees and face towels. It was the same series of errors for the whole stay! Every time I called down, it was multiple step process to get things I needed. At one point I asked if they could come empty the garbage cans and they told me to put them outside the door. When I did, they just took them away. They didn't come back. For most of the rest of the trip I just had little piles of garbage around the room waiting for my can back. I eventually called down for a new one. The pool was strewn with the debris and not cleaned during the length of our stay. Where's the value in a stay that provides no services? I reviewed Marriotts Clean Policy and they never tell you that they will not be cleaning your room during your stay. I really can't believe I haven't seen mention of this to date. Inconvenience aside, I don't believe they are even doing a very good job cleaning rooms in between stays. This is based on the appearance of our room upon arrival with a few surfaces dusty and stray hairs, that weren't ours, in the bathroom. It just seems that they are doing less all around. The couple of things that made the trip better was the bartender's at their lounge and the staff from checkout was nice and pleasant.

My daughter and I stayed at the Sheraton Arlington for a weekend. I noticed throughout our stay that the hotel seemed to be running on a skeleton staff and I was pretty surprised because of the size of the hotel and the fact that it’s a summer weekend. (One staff member at the front desk, one staff member at the bar, etc.) I didn’t really realize the extent of it until we sat down for breakfast in the restaurant on Sunday morning and watched ONE staff member both seat tables, wait tables, and bus tables all alone, all morning. Everyone ate off of the buffet, but if anyone had ordered off of the menu, I wouldn’t have been surprised to see him cooking the food himself, too.
Mario did an incredible job. He was efficient, friendly, and attentive. I was so impressed by the way he handled his job. I did not see him rest one time, and I sat in the restaurant for an hour and a half. I hope that management notices this and appreciates what he brings to the organization. I also hope management works to make sure that they are adequately staffed so that Mario has help.

Our elevators are under contract to do a complete renovation. It wont be started until next year. Currently all elevators are operational. With old elevators that is always subject to change. We have a service contract and we do everything we can!!!
Didn’t go to the lounge, but the breakfast is great. They make an omelette anyway you like it, plus the buffet. Very nice!
