Detailed Reviews
My husband and I enjoyed this hotel. Excellent staff. Devan at the front desk and all of the employees we had encountered were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a king room was spacious for 2 of us. They are not brand new rooms but up dated, well maintained, and very clean. We stayed for a weekend football game. They had an independent transfer shuttle to take you back and forth to the game for about $20 a person round trip. Well worth it! You can see AT&T stadium from the front of the hotel. The stadium is very close about a 5 minute drive. They have a restaurant and bar. They have breakfast hours and then close for dinner. Bar closes very early, especially for a football game crowd. During our stay it was mostly couples and families staying at the hotel.

Hotel's Favourite
We traveled here to see two Rangers games and chose this hotel due to its proximity to the ballpark; the location was great - less than a mile drive. Also, there is an IHOP within walking distance that is open 24 hours. We were very pleased with this hotel, especially the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the comfortable couches in the lounge downstairs. We arrived at about noon and they allowed us to check in early. The clerk at the front desk nicely explained all of the dining options and other important information about the hotel. Our room was comfortable, and most importantly, the A/C was strong, which was needed because of the 100-degree temperatures outside. The small fitness room was clean and well-maintained. There is also a comfortable small business center downstairs with a desk where I did some work while housekeeping was cleaning our room. This hotel met, and in some ways exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a Texas Rangers game and was very pleased. Front desk staff was very helpful. Hotel provides passes for the trolley which will take you to the game. Due to Covid no daily housekeeping if you need it ask at front desk ,easy to get fresh towels etc. if you need them. Didn't try the restaurant or bar both are open. Only minor issue I had was a discovered a sock from someones previous stay in my room but overall I would stay here again.

to me
This was my young girls and I first mother daughter weekend and it was a horrible experience. My daughter found a drug pipe in her pillow when she laid down. I was given my points back for the rewards. We had to change rooms extremely late. We were given complimentary breakfast passes for the next day only, which we didn't get to use because we went to sleep so late due to the transfer that we slept in the next day and missed breakfast. The toilet in the room they moved us to flushed slow and had to use a plunger (that I had to walk to the lobby and carry myself back to my room) after every flush. The plunger they gave me was disgusting. The bottom part was in a bag that was still wet and had bowel on it.
Yes I took a picture of the drug pipe. It was clear with white residue. I kept trying to call the office to get someone to come to my room. I didn't want to touch at all with anything but I never got hold to anyone. I did use paper towels to pick it up and take it to them. The lady in the front, Natasha, was helpful and did what I think she knew to do. I wish more could have been done. There was a worker who approached me in my room no less than 5 minutes after we checked in looking for a laptop. I'm thinking if you cleaned the room you know there wasn't a laptop. After settling down in the room I could tell it wasn't cleaned the towels in the bathroom weren't right. No cups for coffee. It was more like they just made the room look somewhat neat or a worker took a quick break in the room.

I reviewed your comments, and I am sorry for our cleanliness, toilet, and the pipe found. I understand your disappointment with these matters and assure you that this does not represent our standards. I sent a private message to discuss your stay further. I have also shared your review with our managers. They will review everything that has happened and take the proper steps to prevent these issues from happening again. We invite you to visit us in your future stay so we can change your mind about us. Warm wishes, Oscar C. Case Manager IHG Service

I know it's coronavirus time, but I've stayed at a few different hotels in the last 5 months. This one had the least amenities...meaning there were 2 small bottles of shampoo in the bathroom and 2 sets of towels, but that was it. They did not supply coffee for the Keurig (until asked for at front desk) and no coffee in the lobby; no conditioner, body lotion or hair dryer in the room; no ironing pad cover on the ironing board; no housekeeping until we inquired about it. It would have been nice for them toplace a note saying the room would not be refreshed unless we asked for it. The front desk people were friendly enough, but I didn't get a hair dryer, after many requests, until we had been there 2 1/2 days. During this pandemic, I would rather stay at a hotel that is not so bare bones, and it IS possible to find those. I will say this is a good location if you want to be close to the professional sports fields, Six Flags, and UTA. The K bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a bit hard to cool down the room while the outside temperature was 106.

Hi Valued Guest, Thank you for your recent stay and for sharing your feedback. Although we have limited service hospitality, we strive to offer a seamless and relaxing stay. It is a disappointing setback that we missed the mark in ensuring the level of comfort and convenience every guest should expect from an IHG hotel. Was worried about being warm and wanting to make sure I was able to keep power supply for a childs nebulizer we checked in to Holiday Inn Express not knowing they would experience power outage as well. A hour in half after checking in and paying and getting settled in our room power went out
I spoke with the lady at front desk to find out was there a time frame for the outage and also asked about refund she said she would give us a refund but system was down. I understand the power outage there but now its Friday and no one has given me a refund for my inconvenience or sent any apologies or any thing in regards to the situation. I feel robbed because I pai6 for service that they know I didn't rreceive
No comfort no hospitality inconvenience of non working elevators no breakfast free. Please credit back the money or offer free points or room or something.

Due to the extreme weather conditions the hotel power as well as all power in the greater area was effected. We do understand the extreme conditions that existed for everyone in the area. We know these were very difficult times for everyone. We do hope you will give us another chance when you are back in the area.

My group checked in late last night from a long day at work. I was midnight getting into bed. Room was nice, AC worked great. I was dead asleep when housekeeping knocked on my door at 0730 “Housekeeping!” My do not disturb sign was on my door. I said “Do you not see the sign?” He replied “Most people check out and leave it on.” I said “Well, I was dead asleep and it’s 0730!” As I attempted to go back to sleep, I heard other guests repeat the same thing and him saying “Sorry, most people leave it on the door.” Management needs to change this policy. Otherwise, it would have been a nice stay.

We booked a night for my daughter’s 13th. Confirmed reservation and gold members. We called early to request a late arrival after a long day and were told nothing else except we will make a note and see you later. At 10:10pm we received a call telling us that we no longer had a reservation or room due to first come first serve. Never in the years we have exclusively used this hotel across the US in our family travel have we ever been told first come first serve. The front desk could do nothing. The manager was not called. We were simply told we could call her when she arrived in the morning. Unacceptable leaving a family without a place to stay late at night far from home. Don’t stay here. Use another hotel around the park. Use Marriott or Hilton because this would not have happened NOR would this have been their level of customer service. Terrible job today Holiday Inn Arlington!

I have to say that the staff was friendly and my room was nice and clean with a comfortable bed, although there was only one bottle of shampoo and one bar of soap and nothing else.
I give this hotel 2 stars because I had to pay $80+ to get a ride from the airport and to the airport the next day, because they closed they shuttle service because of Covid.
I do understand that they took they measures they believed were the best to protect their staff, but there was no warning about the shuttle service being closed and it is a service they are actually offering on their hotel description (I used the IHG app). They did gave me the card of a taxi service they recommend but I shouldn’t have had to pay for it, when I booked the room
specifically because they were offering a shuttle service.

Hello Dianaandersen, Thank you for staying at our Holiday Inn Arlington NE-Rangers Ballpark. Our hotel wanted to offer an enjoyable travel experience for guests on the move. All we wanted was to create value for our customers and it seems there were some loopholes in amenities and service. I am sorry that the shuttle service was not available during your stay and there was no information on our website. I understand the inconvenience this has caused you. I am alerting our Hotel Management to look into this and update our website for transparency. Though we would prefer you had a better experience at our hotel, we would like to thank you for sharing your thoughts and hope you will allow us to serve you again in the future. Safe travels, Deborah R. Case Manager IHGService

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to AT&T stadium and its airport shuttle service. Let’s start with the shuttle. It only picks up at the top of the hour, which I was okay with. What I wasn’t okay with was waiting outside in 106 degree heat for a shuttle that was 20 minutes late. By the way, you have to call the hotel for pick up. It’s not automatic. Now for the return shuttle. The earliest shuttle leaves at 7 a.m. We didn’t know this and it cost us a $59 Uber ride to catch our 8 a.m flight. Now for the hotel itself. Its best point is its professional and courteous staff. They were great. The rest…meh. Our room was worn out, worse it wasn’t clean. You could write in the dust on the tv stand and desk and there were weird stains on the shade of the bedside lamp. We were here for a Cowboys game so of course the price of the room doubled and they added on a “tourism tax” to the bill. They do offer a round trip shuttle ride to AT&T stadium on game days for $20 round trip per person (cash only). On non hotel notes, Ubering from the hotel to local eateries was reasonable (usually $5-$7). Honestly you could walk to the stadium and restaurants if the weather was nice, but it was miserably hot on our trip.

Dear HoneyBadger0000, Thank you for selecting our Holiday Inn Arlington NE-Rangers Ballpark and for providing feedback about your experience. It's a pleasure having you as our guest. I am truly sorry you did not experience an exemplary stay due to our shuttle service and our room's maintenance, as well as cleanliness. This is certainly below our usual high standard of service. Please be certain that I have noted and forwarded your feedback for the management to improve. In the middle of your experience, I am glad our hotel's location was still appreciated.
