Located across the street, is the Parks Mall featuring an NHL size ice-skating rink and an AMC theater with 30 screens. We are located 3 miles from Arlington Highlands Shopping district. There are also numerous nationally recognized restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is located only 5 minutes from the University of Texas in Arlington, 15 minutes from Six Flags, and 30 minutes from DFW Airport. Downtown Dallas and Fort Worth are both only 30 minutes away.

We loved it, Great location, super friendly and attentive staff. Super clean and spacious rooms. Complimentary breakfast. Had everything we need, fridge, microwave, comfy beds. Pool was still closed for the season. Currently there is a construction right in front of the hotel, so if you plan to sleep in, get a noise machine 😊

I’m a teacher and was taking a group of about 30 middle schoolers on a trip, when we originally decided to stay at another hotel close to Six Flags.. Upon inspection of this other hotel, to put it in the kindness of words I did not feel comfortable bringing these kiddos to the other hotel.. (if you’re interested in which one just check out my other reviews) I was in tears. Call Holiday Inn and Carlos took us under his wing! He was our savior, getting us 10 rooms where our kiddos could have a safe, clean and welcoming environment. They had a blast! One of the few places where the pool was open and had a good selection for a come and go breakfast. Thank you so much to this place and Carlos for making this such a great experience for my students!!

Hotel is very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy and up to date furniture. One issue if you're a light sleeper, ask for top floor and a room not facing Cooper Street. Our room was 237 and I could hear some road noise before I finally drifted to sleep. Otherwise, a very nice stay at this hotel. Close to shopping and restaurants.

I booked a room in advance at this hotel because I knew bad weather was coming and needed to be closer to work since I have to go in. Everything was confirmed. Then while I was driving to the hotel on check in day, they called and left a VM on my phone to simply say they were cancelling my reservation “because of the weather”, but I could call them for more information and “have a great day!” No other explanation given! I immediately called back several times....no answer. I ended up having to scramble last minute and stay at a friends house. This hotel cares nothing about their customers. I suspect that when increased demand for rooms came in, they simply chose to rent the room to someone else for 3 times the price. Not sure if this is a typical Holiday Inn policy ( I’ve had an experience in the past at a different location where the room type I booked months in advance was not available when I arrived) but this location absolutely sucks. Beware if you book here. They won’t hesitate to cancel you and give your room to someone else.

We have visited this hotel several times this year, even when no one else did because of COVID-19. The customer service has been ok but we had reservations this last weekend and we were needing to check in early but when we arrived at almost noon, the manager told me there was no way to check in because the rooms were not clean yet. I ask her that if we went and ate lunch, could they have a room for us when we got back. She flat out said No, without even trying to help us out. So needless to say, we cancelled our reservations and we will NOT go back!!😡

This was the 4rd Holiday Inn we stayed at in Texas and it was the most modern and cleanest room we had.The breakfast area was great and the Mall opposite was an added bonus.It was a great location for the baseball and Six Flags too. We do feel really disappointed that there was no mention of the building site opposite on the hotel description. The building work started at 6am most mornings and sometimes continued through the night.Upon check in we requested a quiet room, we received the opposite.Unfortunately, we had several bad nights of sleep here before returning to the UK. Once the building work is finished this hotel would be a great place to stay.

Holiday Inn Express Arlington is one of the three worst hotels I've ever stayed in.
To be fair, I imagine COVID-19 limitations are responsible for some of my terrible experiences. There is also an issue of expectation management. Apparently a three-star hotel in the US is nothing compared to its equivalent in Asia.
Nevertheless, the cleaning standard at this hotel is appalling. It seems the objective is for the cleaners to be in and out as quickly as possible, and not to do a thorough job. In one instance, a duvet was left scrunched up on the sofa and not replaced on the bed. Tea/coffee supplies were not always provided. And water was not complimentary.
The only redeeming feature was its proximity to Parks Mall.

I made a very seamless reservation with Hotels.com and enjoyed the hotel very much. The free breakfast was great. I actually enjoyed making pancakes from their machine that allowed you to make 2 big panckaes by just pushing a button.

Stayed 3 nights in January 2020. Quick, easy check-in; Ana was pleasant. Upon settling in the room, recieved a couresty text to ensure things were in good order. Recently renovated, the hotel has a modern, clean feel. Room (King) was well laid out; plenty of power (both AC and USB); large TV. Good breakfast as one would expect from HI Express. Maria was very nice and always aimed to please the customers. Free laundry (1 washer/dryer). The only knock on this place is the rather thin walls; you could hear your neighbors, those above (recommend 3rd floor) and in the hallway when folks stream in late night or early out. That killed any possibility of a quiet, restful sleep. Was woken up each morning between 4:45-5 am by others. Close to many restaurants and things to do.

We were very disappointed in the service at this hotel. We regularly stay at Holiday Inn Express. We are gold members. Things aren't always perfect but when you complain, the hotel tries to make it right. At this hotel when you complain, they ask you to pack your things. There was a crying baby and people making noise in the hallway until 2 in the morning. We happily left and would never stay at this property again. Also, the advertised price was $150 a night. Their best rate for us was $180. Definitely not a $180 per night place.

The Holiday inn express in Arlington does not have shuttle service at their location. So you would need to take a taxi to get to their location or rent a car.
