Detailed Reviews
Made last minute reservation for Cowboys/Bucs game. The entire area was booked solid. This property is around a 5 minute Uber ride to the stadium drop off area. The hotel has a private shuttle service that can get you to the stadium for $25. The front desk staff were super courteous, friendly, and just overall great . Really made efforts to assist where they could. The property is pretty dated. The room had a strong musty smell that was either from the window a/c unit or the actual room, the walls had some cracks that the thick coats of paint couldn’t cover, and the original bedding was dirty. The ceiling fan was dirty, had a blade that looks like it had been pulled down and was lower than the others. The front desk gave me freshly washed bedding. It was quiet after hours and the bed was comfortable. Didn’t spend much time in the room, but the musty smell while in the room was strong. Left the window open mist of the time to vent the room. Proximity to AT&T & Globe Life is excellent. Definitely not worth the $500 for game night stay.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the SpringHill Suites in Arlington. I will have to say that the location is really close to Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor and many restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helped us with any questions that we had. Our bed was clean and comfortable. We loved the layout of the room with a couch, desk, refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot. The room seemed clean enough but there were a few places like the shower that needed a little extra cleaning because of scuff marks on the tile and leftover shampoo from the guest before us. Also, the bathroom door squeaked a lot and needed some WD-40. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay in Arlington.

Moved to this hotel after stay at other hotel locally. This room smelled of damp and mold. Within an hour I needed allergy medicine as my nose completely stuffed up. Other than that the room was secure and clean.
Side note: I really do not recommend any hotel in the Arlington area. I have stayed in Arlington with another chain (a few years ago) and my stays were pretty similar to the other stay I had. I do recommend driving the 30 minutes to get here from any other location in the DFW area.

Checked in, had crumbs and hair on desk, sticky fingerprints on bedside table. During Covid this is not “high cleaning standards” that we saw playing on the TV when we walked in. Asked for another room. Moved to a room no working AC. No other rooms available so asked to go back to first room and was given cleaners and wipes (at my request) to clean off all surfaces. Room was dark with no central lighting over bed area. Very bright open bathroom sink which wakes up other sleepers when one in party is trying to get ready. Body towels are the size of large hand towel or toddler towels. And we only received 3 for a room that sleeps 4. Property lists having fridges in rooms, one of our rooms did not have a fridge, the other did. Truly not sure how a place can advertise as “suites” without fridges and microwaves in all rooms (neither of our rooms had microwaves). Front desk staff was very apologetic and friendly. Not her fault, she has to play the hand dealt to her. But this place is not up to the standards that this member has grown to enjoy with Marriott properties. This was our first time staying at this location, and will be our last.

We were a late arrival and called to advise them of that before hand. They advised that it would be no problem and even at midnight the check in was quick and courteous. Grounds were well maintained and clean. As were the lobby and hallways that we traversed. Everything seems to be newly renovated and our room was clean, well appointed and spacious enough for our family of five. Housekeeping was eager to please and every single worker we came across was kind and had a smile on their face. Breakfast ladies did a great job keeping things stocked and clean, even with large crowds and went above and beyond in regards to friendliness and courteousness. Great location for Six Flags and AT&T Stadium visits. We found it a bit difficult to navigate to get to a few places but it was manageable. Overall it was a great stay and we will aim to stay there for our next Six Flags visit. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights while in town in business. I was looking for a hotel close to the ballpark to catch a Rangers game. This hotel is a gem. A few observations:
1) This hotel is convenient to Globe Life Field, AT&T Park, Six Flags and a countless good restaurants.
2) The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick to offer assistance. When I mentioned that I was going to a Rangers game, the clerk recommended the shuttle service so that I could avoid the hassle of parking a car.
3) This hotel has clearly recently been remodeled. The rooms are a little on the small side for a normal Springhill Suites, but still have all of the regular conveniences that you would see with this brand.
4) Breakfast was okay, but not great. There were no hot options on the buffet.
5) The wifi was fast and reliable and the hotel rooms are equipped with smart TVs.
6) The rooms are a fraction of the price of those hotels just a mile away and closer to the ballparks.
Overall, this is a really good option and still close to DFW and all major highways. I’ve already got my next reservation booked for December.

Our company booked this place because the residence inn down the street had a "computer glitch" and didn't have any rooms for us (about 15 rooms). So our travel manager was able to get this springhill suites Dallas Arlington North. I looked up the reviews right here on TA the day before and realized this was not going to be a great stay, so I was sort of prepared for misery. Got checked in by a friendly and helpful employee, noticed the hallways were very hot/humid. What do you know.... So was the room, it was so humid in the room that the window was covered in condensation. Finally thought I figured out the A/C unit and it started to blow a little colder air. Around 11:30pm I figured wrong because I was drenched in sweat, so if the noise of the A/C (think of a pair of shoes in a dryer) didn't wake you up, the humidity sure will!
The towels are very thin and rough to touch. The little bar of soap had a similar consistency to cardboard. Strange room layout with a mini fridge just sitting on the carpet next to the door.
Ice machines:
3rd floor- had a sign "not working due to maintenance"
2nd floor- boarded off with a piece of wood
1st floor- appeared to work, but was empty both times I tried to get ice
Breakfast area was not cleaned/ trash was full from day before.
I still did not complain about anything and just figured that's unfortunate that I was put here. A few of my coworkers had other issues, and must have made the complaints because we were moved over to the residence inn after 2 nights in the Springhill. (was supposed to be 4 nights).
So overall, the employees are nice, and are doing what they can in an older property. I have no complaints with them.

The staff was great under the conditions:
1. Not a single ice cube for any guest, was told that we could walk 600 yards to the gas station for ice.
2. Had to kill several bugs in the shower area.
3. No No room service for the 3 nights we stayed. Everyone placed their dirty towels and trash in the hall way. You could go downstairs and take back the number of towels you needed.
4. First day I was there one of the waffle machines was broken and created a very long line at breakfast. Problem of long waffle line on the third day was over when the last machine was broke.
5. Have to say you have great staff for those who have remained with you.
6. Marriott please send the required funds to assist your poor staff here.
1. Money to complete the entrance driveway.
2. Money for 4 waffle machines and 2 extras s
3. 59 gallons of bug spray.
4. Money to hire staff to clean rooms and empty garbage.

Room was nice. AC wasn’t blowing as cold as it should but no biggie. Next morning walk out to our vehicle and was hit with the realization that during the night our catalytic converters were hacked off. We parked in the hotel parking lot, on the east side. NO CAMERAS are anywhere on the outside of this building anywhere! This was noticed in hindsight of course.
It’s Memorial Day, naturally nothing is open. We were gonna book another night, just let the kids swim in the pool, Uber eats for the day and take it to a shop the next day. Pool was closed for maintenance.
Thanks so much for the Griswold Vacation memories, one for the books FOR SURE!!

Many items in the room were broken or poorly maintained. The towel bar was missing, the toilet continuously flowed (making noise) and the refrigerator wasn't cold. The common areas need work also. I expect better from a Marriott property!

Yes I think it is. Lots of people when we were there did. I hope this helps.
Yes a lot of our guest walk to the game. The hotel is 1.1 mile from the stadium, it is a safe walk and with nice new side walks between here and there. We also have a third party transportation company that you can sign up for round trip service to the game and back from our hotel.
We do not have any type of shuttle services... local or to the airport. Uber is available at the airport along with cabs. There is also a bus service called Super Shuttle that will bring you to the hotel from the airport.
City of Arlington offers it for free and the hotel sets it all up for you at the front desk. its complementary offered by the city and it stops at the hotel so no problem. Once you get to the hotel you simply ask the front desk about it tell them how many tickets you need they set it all up at no charge and you are good to go. Easy as can be and they bring you back too. Hope this helps.
