Hyatt Place Dallas/Arlington is often commended for its well-kept and spacious rooms, although occasional maintenance issues and unwelcome pests have been mentioned. While the hotel's rates are generally seen as reasonable, guests have noted some hidden costs and inconveniences tied to the location. The staff is celebrated for being accommodating and personable, despite occasional lapses in organization.
The atmosphere is inviting, with thoughtful room layouts and lighting. Its vicinity to Six Flags and local stadiums is a highlight for visitors, and amenities like the complimentary breakfast receive positive remarks.

Great hotel and friendly staff. The hotel is very close to the stadium and we were able to walk to the football game. The room was clean, and quiet. The hotel is close to many great eateries, shopping and great places to enjoy your stay.

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. Upon arrival, we were greated by a friendly gentleman that quickly checked us in. After that, it was rare to find anyone at the front desk for the remainder of the weekend. The hotel is very convenient to Six Flags as well as the stadium and very family friendly. The continental breakfast provided a variety of options despite closures due to COVID and construction. The rooms are nice; however, they could use some TLC. The room was very dirty and the floors look like it's been a while since there has been a thorough cleaning. I would highly recommend that housekeeping put in a more thorough checks in balance system with cleaning. There were also several trash items under the sink area in the bathroom. Our room did not have a full roll of toilet paper or extra rolls. We stayed multiple days but housekeeping did not come by to dump the garbage, etc...
The room was spacious but I found it odd that the room did not have a microwave in the small kitchen area. This hotel has potential just looks like management needs to tighten up.

The Hotel is going through some renovations but the room was clean and comfortable. The location to the Dallas Stadium and Baseball Stadium is somewhat within walking distance if you like to exercise and not pay the ridiculous $30-$40 dlls parking fee at the venues. Also Six Flags IS within walking distance as well, you can get there walking in about 10 minutes. Hotel is comfortable and staff was very amicable and helpful

The only reason to stay at this hotel is its proximity to Six Flags. We spent a January weekend here thinking it would be deserted, not realizing Six Flags was open on weekends. As a result there were 3 busloads of Teens staying and they completely overwhelmed the hotel and especially caused a mob scene at breakfast service. Not sure why the hotel did not open the adjoining conference room for overflow seating ? Otherwise the bed was old and non-supportive; plus the AC/Heat vent is adjacent and blows directly on the bed, causing a draft. But on the plus side, the shower had some of the best water pressure we have ever experienced in a chain hotel.

Rooms aren’t clean! Both sink/handwash had notÃciele hair and a clothe sticker. The bedding for the pullout couch seem it hasn’t been changed in weeks. It was filled with stains. The bedding for the main bed had a blood stain, was ripped, and was filled with hair. There were used eyelashes in the bathroom floor, let’s not even mention the tub.
It was a two night stay, we asked for housekeeping to clean the room. When we got back the tub was still dirty and the eyelashes were still in the bathroom floor, and no bag for the trash can.
The elevator was dirty and stinky.

My experience with this hotel was exceptional. Not only did they allow me to check in early but they also allowed a late checkout. I stayed at this hotel for two nights, three full days since I was attending a training with a local hospital group whose headquarters are an easy 5 min drive. The room location was great with easy access just outside my room to the beautiful park like grounds for my dog who was traveling with me. The grounds surrounding this hotel were exceptional with walking trails and three ponds with fountains in each. Very serene and peaceful. Even though there was construction at the front of the hotel, it was still exceptionally clean and noise was to a minimum. Bed was super comfy and room was very clean. Loved the corner sofa and layout of the room. I 100% would stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling in this vicinity. You won’t be disappointed with your choice in this Hyatt property.

We booked a 2 bed room upon arrival we are told they only have a king bed (we have 4 in our group) we take it because it’s 9 pm and we’ve been driving all day. On our way up the hotel is gross crap all over the floor. The elevator doors are filthy and it looks like they haven’t been wiped down in months. It stinks inside so disgusting... I’m very disappointed as we have stood at several Hyatt’s before and they were noting like this...We feel like we are at motel 6!

The hotel is very clean, modern, with all accommodations available. The room was clean, housekeeping was friendly and would get us extras of things we needed, the set up of the room was great for 4 people, we liked the couch, desk, large open space and extra sink with refrigerator. It was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pool area was nice. The lobby was modern and the bar area was great for lunch or hanging out. The lobby was open and we were able to find a seat for their continental breakfast (which was amazing with hot and cold items). The food service at the hotel was great and we were able to order food late. The location was great for Six Flags and the convention center (and stadiums). The value for the money was great! Miranda at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Our stay was excellent!!!

My family and I stayed at the hotel to attend a baseball game. When we arrived at the hotel at 3:45pm we were informed that our rooms were not ready, and they couldn't tell us when they would be. We sat for a bit before they told us one room was ready. They would call when the other room was. At 5pm we went to ask for trolley tickets to the game and asked about the status of the room. We were told it was still not ready. After returning from the game just after 10pm we again asked about the status and were informed that the paid for room was given to another guest. All they had was king beds left (we had a decent size group). We opted to just get a refund on the room and would use the other room for us all to stay in since it had more beds and a large couch. A short time later we went to the bar where there was no staff in sight. The front counter did not have staff either. People were everywhere wanting drinks and needing assistance. We waited nearly half an hour before deciding that it wasn't worth it and going back the room. On the way to the room we saw the woman who was supposed to be bartending hiding from the crowd. We were very disappointed in our stay

Thank you for your stay with us. I apologize your stay did not meet your expectations. During your time with us we did have a shortage of available staff, and our staff are busy throughout the shift taking care of a multitude of duties which possible may have taken them away from the desk. In reviewing the surveillance of the night of April 10, I do see our staff available during the times you mentioned. I apologize if they may have had to step away briefly, but assure you they were present at the bar and front desk assisting our guests. Thank you again for your recent stay and apologize again. For the best results in the future book directly with Hyatt as third party reservations are often not guaranteed a room type.

So we checked in on August 31, 2021. No one said we would Not have hot water in the Morning, and then no water at all. I called the front desk and asked why we have no hot water. Janette ( said that was her name) Said I am sorry, I should have told you. At that point we had water. 20 minutes later in room 509, we had no water at all. We could not shower. We used Bottle water to Brush our teeth. We went to the front desk and checked out, Jennette just made excuses. She said she would have a General Manager Named Justin Call us. No apology. Justin Never called, and we are out 8000 points for this nightmare of a stay. The room should have been compt. Normal Hotels let you shower, use the toilet and brush your teeth when you stay. There was No water in the morning. No hot water when we had water. Justin aka the GM should have called and refunded the points. We would have never checked in had they told us no hot water, then no water at all. Avoid this hotel. Justin, Jeanette , and staff are pathetic, Horrible service and Horrible staff.

We provide complimentary shuttle service to and from DFW airport. During event days (concerts, football games, baseball games( , we do not shuttle to. However Boardwalk transportation is a transportation service that provides rides to and from the stadium for a small fee.
Upon arrival to airport we ask that all guest gives us a call once the retrieve their luggage and once they come down to the ground level.. Once on ground level look for the signs that says courtesy van pickup. It usually would take us 15-20 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel.
There is a trolley that runs from the hotel to places all around Arlington. Think it ran about every 30 minutes.
No hot tub from what I remember. The breakfast choices changed a bit each day - it was always very good, but they didn't always have waffles.
