We love staying at Hampton Inn in Alpine - it's not downtown and the train is not as loud as some other hotels downtown, but it's close enough - very small town. The beds are very comfortable and room temperature is great. Free Breakfast is good, nice variety - also the tea at night is nice.

And the only rooms available on floor 2 are "smoking" rooms! So up to the 3rd floor with luggage...not sure I will stay here again inn an otherwise nice hotel. (Review 4 days ago said no elevator...should have been fixed by now.

The hotel is one of the convenient and confortable places near the Big Ben National Park. The room was of a good size and well equipped. The breakfast was well organized. The welcome was just okay, maybe because of the number of people who staid in this place.

Not the typical Hampton experience. Our first day was a disaster. The hotel elevator was out of order ( a busy rodeo weekend!) so we were given a suite on the ground floor & told it was an accessible suite. Typically this is not a problem because we have stayed in similar suites not only in the Hampton chain but...

It would be nice to stay again at Hamton on there expense for the inconvenience of check in Time, and light coming through the the side of the door. Jeremy, and Monica along with other workers are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice however there was no elevator and it was difficult for people with mobility issues to get luggage to the 2nd floor if you are arriving later in the day you may want to stop earlier at marathon to eat. Had to eat at puzza hut across the street. It was loud noisy ,unclean and needed maintenance...

After a wonderful time stargazing at Macdonald Observatory we thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome, good service with smiles and a good night comfortable sleep. In the morning children enjoyed making their own waffles and the sumptuous variety of breakfast. Would love to go back there again!

Affordable? Check. Free breakfast? Check. Nice room? Check. Good service? Check. Good location? Check. I really have no reason for you not to stay here. It doesn't have the charm of some of the older, local hotels in the area, but that is ok for me. This was the best breakfast for a hotel of this type I've ever seen....

Clean, affordable and central to the observatory and the Marfa lights viewing center. We would recommend to anyone staying in the area. Was actually pretty suprised due to the lack of hotels and figured this one would be old and run down....quite the opposite...it's new and fresh.
