Detailed Reviews
The 4 of us stayed here 3 nights as part of a package for the local Oktoberfest. We were greeted warmly and efficiently at the front desk. Our rooms were clean. spacious, and comfortable. The friendly bartender Wilvon created a beautiful and delicious cocktail for me. The hotel's location made our destinations easily accessible by our car or Uber, but it would have been nice to be able to walk to dinner. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We spent 2 nights at the Addison/Midway and we found the room to be nice and clean along with the bathrooms and the location for a weekend stay was extremely quiet which we really enjoyed. Bad with names but the gentleman who checked us in on Thursday Jan 2nd about 3pm was a real jewel and very easy going. I won't hesitate to stay at this location again.

We were affected by the winter storm in Texas. We checked in on 02/20/21 for 2 nights and once we got there and I saw the room I became upset because it would not accommodate my husbands disability needs. I spoke with Justine at the front desk and she and her manager was able to put us in a handicap assessable suite which was close to the door. We were advise the next morning that our water was on back on but the pipes burst and my sons room was flooded when we came home to check on everything. I called the hotel back and spoke with Juan and explain the situation and was able to cancel the last night so we could stay home and deal with the water extraction, plumbers etc.. I just want to say during this time we had beyond wonderful customer service. Justine was just a phone call away and would bring us anything that we needed so we wouldn't have to leave the room. Juan also made the checkout experience beyond effortless. There are enough words to express my families gratitude to Marriott. Thank you so much for helping our family during this time. Will come back in the future.

The hotel is old and, apart from the lobby, completely worn out. Our room didn't have a USB, but you didn't need one in the 80s anyway 😉
The breakfast, which was subject to an additional charge, consisted of a bagel and a coffee, and anything else was only available for an additional fee. We would definitely not stay here again.

let's start bu the guy who checked me in, the smell of weed was present and he gave me a room that was messy, bed and towels all over the floor, he gave me a second room and the same thing happened, the third room was good but was missing towels and amenities. the hotel staff is not helpful I was chatting on the app to get towels sent to my room with some amenities for the shower and that never happened i was told to come to pick them up at the lobby, i showed up at the lobby and the same gut who checked me in said I'm sorry we don't have them ready. the hallas and room smell like weed all the time. just a very bad management on this hotel and very trashy for the price this hotel should be $50 or less a night doors to come in the building are not working aswell

Great hotel off the beaten path. We stayed here over New Years 2022-3 and it was a great hotel. The property is well maintained and cared for. Staff was excellent snd helpful. The location is in an area that it commercial but it’s very quiet and not much traffic. There is a dog park located next door as well. Great place to stay in the Dallas metroplex with out all the hustle and bustle sand very reasonably priced. Very close to the Galleria Mall as well. It’s an older property but it has been updated and very well maintained.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard in Addison for a night and didn't have the best experience.
The hotel is in a quiet area, which is a huge plus, but I was disappointed with several other things.
When I checked in, I asked for a quiet room away from the elevator and the gentleman that helped me was very nice.
Later in the afternoon, water started dripping out of the top of the tank on the toilet, so I tried to call front desk and the phone didn't work. I walked down and waited over 5 minutes for someone to show up to help me out. A different front desk person walked in from outside and when I mentioned I had an issue and had been waiting for several minutes, his response was "I was just outside talking to my GM". Very unprofessional response, not to mention that I don't understand why, if there were two employees, including a GM, they wouldn't be inside either at the front desk or in the office where the door was left wide open.
He moved me into a room right in front of a door that opens to the outside and people were coming and going throughout the night and the door kept waking me up.
In the morning, again had to wait several minutes to speak to someone at the front desk (I heard him inside the office and called out several times and got no response).
I know times are different with covid and staffing levels are down, but the quality of some of the properties and staff has really suffered and it was obvious at this property.

Dear jgmiami, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and let us know about your experience. I can understand your frustration when several easy items were not taken care of in a manner we would expect of a Marriott property. Please accept my sincere apology for this and know this is not our typical standard of service for our guests. I hope when you are back in town that you give us another chance to make a much more favorable impression with you and your family. Thank you again for your review. Kind Regards, Justin W.

This was my first time staying at a hotel with my toddler and without my husband. We were headed to SA from Oklahoma and wanted to stop to rest and drive the rest of the way in the morning. After checking in my toddler had a melt down and did not want to stay, so I asked the front desk to check us out after only being checked in for an hour and told them I would pay. The front desk agent saw how overwhelmed I was and was beyond kind to not charge me that night. He was also super friendly and tried to cheer up my little one with a free snack. So on our way home after being in Texas for a week I decided I would return to this hotel because of the outstanding service and kindness I was given! We did in fact stay the night this second time! :D And we happened to have the same gentleman checking us from the week before! He was friendly, personable, professional, and great at his job! I can not praise him enough because I stayed on a friends and family rate and throughout every Marriott when you stay with these discounted rates 99% of the time the staff or FD agent treats you terribly! But at this hotel they treat everyone with kindness and respect!! This hotel has my business for sure!!

Clean Affordable stay fairly close to town.
Dallas like all Texas cities has a lot of sprawl, but Addison is located 15 min from downtown and close to a ton of great eating and shopping. Made for the perfect place for a short 2 day stay.
This courtyard seemed to have a recent lobby renovation which is clean, spacious, and modern. Checkin was efficient with a friendly staff and minimal wait. Parking is a bit spread out as this property doesn't have many floors but plenty of entrances to get in.
Rooms were very spacious but your typical courtyard basic fare. Beds were comfortable enough, bathroom was a good size, and furniture seemed to be in good condition. Not much of a view except the interior courtyard which had a nice sitting area and pool.
Gym was very nicely sized though, wifi worked fine, and nothing was broken. Definitely a good budget stay.

No we do not have a shuttle but we would be happy to recommend a taxi service. We have a shuttle that operates in Addison within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.
Our hotel does not offer an indoor pool, however we have a beautiful outdoor pool with lounge area.
