Location chosen for being close to relative's residence, good price and value and decent opportunity to obtain connecting rooms for daughter with her baby. Got connected rooms which were not guaranteed but immediately noted that one door to hallway safety latch had been broken off and was not functioning (what caused that to occur was disturbing to consider). See photos I immediately notified the front desk clerk who wrote my concerns down (also that bathroom door hinge was so squeaky from needing lubricants that it could wake a sleeping baby). Even offered to fix it myself if they gave me an unbroken replacement part. I was assured it would be fixed the next day (Monday). Neither item was addressed during the remaining four days of our stay.

Got 2 connecting rooms for 4 days/3 nights. First night, both rooms bathrooms would not drain all of a sudden at night. Got switched to different rooms. These rooms missing amenities like chair, microwave, and fridge. Asked front desk to provide and was told it was not possible because "hotel engineer doesn't work weekends." Next day, tried to take my son for swim at pool, but the pool was gross. Asked front desk to clean and was told it was not possible because "hotel engineer doesn't work weekends." The next evening, nothing was resolved and was told the engineer had already left for the day. With the exception of 2 staff members (Nathen and some other dude), everyone else at front desk didn't really seem to care and did a bad job addressing our needs. We had to ask 2-3 times for everything. We only had our room cleaned once while we were there. Besides all that, rooms were nice, breakfast was good, and the cost was great.

I've been staying at this hotel for over a year now for my business to Dallas. Clean rooms and the staff is always friendly. The owners work the hotel as well and are like family. They ask about my family and tell me about theirs.

It makes being on the road a little easier knowing the place you are staying cares about you. You won't go wrong making this your Dallas stopover.

Regards,
Bill

This was the absolute worst experience of my life. I called the hotel a day before to ask for an early check in and the woman, who is the front desk manager, told me that that’s not an option, and to just cancel the hotel and go somewhere else. Today I arrived and again she told me there’s nothing she can do, so I started to unpack my luggage in the lobby to get some things to change in the restroom… Another employee came over and offered me early check in for an additional fee, and I was very happy to do it. The front desk manager, her name is Diana, came over and I told her that it would’ve been nice if she told me about this yesterday… She told me to get out of the hotel and canceled the reservation because she said I was being rude. I have never in my life been kicked out of a hotel. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. How can someone treat people this way?

My sister and I planned to use this hotel as a pit stop on our road trip since we were traveling with her two three-month-olds. When we opened our room door, we were overcome with an awful odor. We immediately exited the room and made the trek back to the front desk. I told the man at the front desk about the odor and requested to be moved. We volunteered to sleep in the same bed if it meant we could have a clean room.

There was one room left with two beds and we said we’d take it. While we made our way to the elevator, another freshly checked-in guest went to the counter. He told the man that he thought he was given someone else’s room. The man at the desk refuted the idea and told the guest that the room was marked in their system as clean. The guest then explained that the beds were not made and there were towels on the floor. We got in the elevator and did not hear the outcome of this conversation.

When we got up to our second room, we were horrified. Stains on the walls, hair on the bathtub, a dirty toilet seat, and a brown mark on a pillowcase were the first things to catch our eyes. An odor still filled the air, though it wasn’t as potent as the odor downstairs. We knew we wouldn’t be comfortable laying the babies (or ourselves) down in this hotel.

We went back to the desk to explain the issues with the room. I gave him back our keys and asked if we could get a refund so we could find another Hilton to stay at. The man at the desk turned very angry and said that we were being “too particular.” I told him that I am particular about staying in a clean room, which is why I always stay at Hiltons. He then started yelling that the smell in the room downstairs was “just water damage.” My sister told him that we couldn’t keep the babies in a moldy room. He then continued yelling about how it wasn’t moldy. When my sister asked him to please stop yelling at her, he told her that he would yell at her if he wanted to.

I was on hold with Hilton for over an hour before I could even talk to anyone. It took three hours of being on the phone to come to and resolution (a comped night at a hotel 3 hours away.) I will never stay with Hilton again. It’s one thing to have a horrible experience. It’s another to have to be on the phone for 3 hours with a company’s customer service.

I would give this hotel a negative rating if I could. 1 star is way too generous.

Rented three rooms for myself and two colleagues. On the second night of one of those days they came back to be told that they were give him the wrong room the night before and that they should not be in the room they are in and they were not like being allowed back in their room to get their belongings. We specifically showed them the reservations for the three different rooms one checking and the day before the other two. They specifically stated they were gonna talk to the employee that made a mistake the night before but then went on and penalized my colleague for being in the wrong room. The desk clerk was extraordinarily rude and said the The owner specifically said he was not return to the room and we were to be charge for two nights for each of the rooms instead of one. I reached out to the diamond desk who was terrific and she talk to the front desk clerk and manager and after talking to them for 15 minutes explain that for the best interest of everyone we should go back not say a word stay all night and then leave the property. She had never been treated that way by a hotel employee and that she was going to create a file and send this to her supervisor. Never been treated so rude Via customer service agent when they actually admitted that it was their person’s fault that the mixup occurred. That coupled with the idea that the television in the room did not work and there were stains on the comforter make me suggest this property is highly overrated even for the low price They charge. When leaving we overheard the front desk or talking to the owner about other people contesting charges from the hotel so it seems as if this is an ongoing issue with the specific owner. I would steer clear of this property too many other nice Hilton properties nearby with someone rates. I would strongly encourage consideration of the embassy.

For the past 3 years, me and my work associates have been staying at this property. The services is terrible and it gets worst every time, they do not service the rooms daily, even after you request it. I found dead roaches on my room, In another stay, I had a room with a noisy water leak in the bathroom
I do not recommend to stay here in this property! They lost a good business client.

Thank you so much for your review. We are so sorry for the negative experience you have had at this property previously. We are glad to announce that this property is under new ownership and management as of September 2022. We have made a lot of changes in the last six months, including rebranding the property into The Addison Hotel, a SureStay Collection by Best Western. We are proud of the progress and changes that have been made so far, but are thrilled to say that it doesn't stop there - we are preparing for a full renovation starting in 2023 where we will be redesigning the property into an Aiden, Best Western's boutique-style brand. Comments like yours have led the pivot we have made with the business model and the standards that we are building into the property and new team. We are excited about the location and promise of the property and all the potential it has to offer, and we recognize that our guests are why we are here! We are so sorry for the experience that you had with the previous owners, and we hope that we have the opportunity to have you and your associates experience a stay with our new team. I'm confident that you will appreciate the positive changes!

We stay at Hampton Inn often, yet this Hampton Inn didn’t live up to its name. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was chewed gum on the nightstand, dried noodles in the desk/wall, and fingerprints all over the television and mirrors. The staff (especially Alberto) was very attentive and helpful. Although he requested a thorough cleaning of the room during the second day of our stay, the room was not cleaned. You’d be better off finding a nearby Hampton Inn that prioritizes cleanliness.

The facility was not clean. I do not recommend staying here to anyone. The room card machine was broken and an escort was required any time you left your room. This was very inconvenient for us as the guests as well as the hotel staff who were already very busy. I had numerous other issues including broken A/C, no hot water, mold, and overall not a good place to stay.

Okay stay. Front desk services should be more pleasant to guest. I know there are some rude people, but I believe in treating everyone with kindness. In adding to that show some respect. Overall it was nice I can tolerate the rudeness because that would not carry on into the room or business activities

The Hampton Inn review was for Dallas, TX. The airports nearby were DFW & Dallas Lovefield. Both airports were only about 15 minutes from hotel. There is not a Stardust nearby. However they do have a Bowlero literally 5 minutes from the hotel.

The AC units are PTAC units that are in the wall, they are like large window units. They are louder than your traditional unit at home, and they do cycle on and off based on the temperature of the room.
