First thing… the whirlpool room was NOT the one in the pictures I saw but it was fine.
We were in 3 different rooms in a 3 night span. We checked in and noticed an unpleasant smell in room #1. We turned the AC lower and thought maybe it just needed more air flow. While unpacking I found a decent sized wet spot on the carpet. With where it was located in the room the only real explanation was that something in the room beside us was leaking. There weren’t any other rooms with the whirlpool available that night so we stayed and the employee said he would work on getting us an new room for the remainder of our stay. The next morning he called to let us know he had a room ready for us. When we got to the new (non-smoking) room it smelled like weed. My husband told the employee up front and he immediately gave us the keys to another room which I really appreciated. In room #3, anytime someone else would close their door ours would rattle like someone was shaking the door handle. The first time I heard it I actually though someone was trying to get in. I didn’t notice it in the first room but my husband said it did the same but was definitely louder in room #3. The AC never really seemed to get super cold in either room. I had it on 64 and still had to sleep with no blankets on. And there was a TV but the remote didn’t work so it was basically useless.
With all that said we didn’t stay in the room much anyways so after we got everything settled it was ok. Definitely could’ve been better but the manager was nice enough to work to discount part of our stay because of everything that first night.
Oh and there is no housekeeping provided on the weekends. If you need something you can ask for it at the front desk but don’t plan on anyone making the bed, changing the linens or emptying the teeny tiny trash can.

As always, we stay at this Best Western when we are in the area. This time however, we had some challenges with the amenities. We had ended our day after a long tiring drive and had checked in and unpacked and discovered that the shower wasn’t working. We headed to the front desk to explain our dilemma and Josuey (sp??) was able to immediately relocate us in a different room after some juggling since they were expecting a very full occupancy that night. He was very understanding and accommodating, he provided us the new room keys and had us check to make sure that the shower in the new room was working before we packed up everything to move to the new room. We keep coming back because we appreciate the mind fullness in which the staff takes care of their guests. Thank you so much.

On walking up to our room, I was immediately struck by the dirty carpets that continued inside our room. They obviously have not been cleaned in quite some time. Once inside our room we noticed that it smelled bad and when I pulled the sheets back there was a large dark stain that was at least 14"x10" big. I tried to call down to the desk only to find that the phone was not working so I went down to speak to someone and ended up speaking to the general manager (GM) who told me that she was aware of the stains. She went on to tell me that it was clean and that the stain was from them spraying bleach on the sheets and was caused because the bleach was so strong that it creates the stain. Frankly, they should be washing the sheets and not spot cleaning with bleach. Needless to say, I asked to be moved to a different room where the condition of the room was much worse!! Bigger and more stains on the sheets and comforter, rusted microwave, broken chair, rust/grime/water stains on the shower head, and rusted light fixtures. The tiny gym was absolutely dismal with an incomplete dumbbell set, a flat/disgustingly dirty yoga ball, and a broken machine with an out of order sign. Lastly, when we were walking down the hall one day, we could smell marijuana (I guess that's why they feel the need to include a "no smoking marijuana" sign in one of the rooms). I think the pictures I took say it all. The pictures of the room and gym are based on what I COULD see! I can't imagine what type of things were lurking that I COULDN'T see! When I showed the GM the condition of the room she moved us to, she offered me points or a 10% discount. She was not willing to comp us anything and said that she would only give us one or the other so I took the discount. We stayed 2 nights and when I got home I found that she only applied the discount to one of the nights stay which resulted in a $6 discount. If I could give this a negative rating I would. I will never stay at this disgusting hotel again!!

DEPOSIT WAS WAY TOO MUCH!! My initial plans were to go to OK for the Labor Day weekend, but my car totaled a week before going to my destination. To still have a Labor Day vacation, I chose this spot for me and my family. I went directly to the Best Western website and called this location multiple times and not one time did it say on the website, nor was it told to me when I called that there will be a $100 deposit on top of the fee for the rooms reserved. Sadly, deciding to go somewhere else meant that I would lose $80 for not cancelling the day before. Then we we were told for every hour past 11am, it was a $25 fee. Never in history of ever staying in a hotel, I had to pay for staying the courtesy one hour later. The deposit was very upsetting as this cut into the money I wanted to use on my trip. The staff were nice and willing to help when needed, except during breakfast. I went down for breakfast an hour after it started and there weren’t many people, so I thought that was good, and although there were supposed to be a variety of muffins, they only had five muffins and they were chocolate, not the variety as I was told. They had apples that were either rotten, cut open already, or dented. I wasn’t too picky about the apples, but when I asked if they would put out more or if they had other kinds of muffins, I was told no. The mixture for the waffle battered tasted like it had cracked eggshells in them, and the sausage patties looked like they were swimming in dirty water. I specifically chose this place for breakfast, and it was only sub-par. The sheets were stained, dented refrigerators that came out of place when you opened the door. The drawers were falling out with stains on the walls and the air conditioning was so horrible. It never made our room cool, even being on 67 degrees. Walking into the elevators was like walking into a sauna. The pools were okay, not the cleanest, but we were able to swim in them, but we left sooner than we liked since men in their rooms kept coming to the windows staring and made the experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. They didn’t have room towels available, was giving pool towels and then was promised real towels, but was never delivered. Although the staff was very nice, but it wasn’t the experience I was looking for. There were other locations in the area with cheaper deposits. My only reason really for staying was for the free breakfast and pool and both experiences could have been better.

We stayed here one night. Let me first state that the staff was great and the beds were comfortable but not sure about some of the management choices. We had a room with two beds. Each had exactly two pillows (lumpy..and not so lumpy. Our room was a non-smoking room but clearly smelling of cigarettes. The furniture was a bit banged up, the lamp shade crooked, the bath towel smaller than normal. Due to Covid we were offered a grab and go bag instead of breakfast, packed with an apple, a cereal bar, water, and one of the prepackaged cinnamon rolls. Coffee was only available in the room, let’s call it colored chlorinated water.. What really stood out though was the extra rule this hotel made me initial off on: make-up stains on linens would incur a $50 charge. Never seen this before… would we come back? Probably not.

I want to bring to your attention some issues I experienced during my stay at your hotel. The hotel itself is comfortable, but it feels a bit outdated. The air conditioning in my room was quite noisy, which was disruptive. I went down to have breakfast at 8:30 am and found that there was no food left. The breakfast was supposed to be available until 9 am, but there were no eggs, sausage, bacon, or bagels left. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, she seemed to argue about the availability of breakfast and mentioned reviewing the security cameras. I didn't ask for a refund, but I expected the manager to take ownership of the problem and provide an apology.
When I asked for the manager's name (Shameeka), she suddenly became concerned and wanted to know how she could make things right. However, at that point, it felt too late. I felt that she treated my wife and me as though we were being dishonest. If she had taken ownership of the problem and expressed an apology and a promise to rectify the situation, I would have been satisfied. However, because she did not, I feel compelled to escalate this complaint to the corporate office so that she can receive additional management training. I made a poor choice for our 36th wedding anniversary.

We only decided to stay here based on our first interaction with the front desk associate. We had other options that were closer to where we spent most of our time but based on his helpful attitude and attentiveness we decided to stay with Best Western and plus. When we arrived the outside of hotel was clean as was the reception area. We went to our room and as soon as we walked in cigarette smoke hit us like a brick. I started to check the bed (like I normally do at any hotel) as soon as I took the comforter off I saw a bug crawling on the sheets, long black curly hair and short black (almost like pubic hair) on the bed I stripped the sheets and continued to keep checking! More and more hair was discovered.
The bathroom had a couple of the same small bugs in and on the sink that we’re on the bed.
I went and reported this to the front desk and was told “ ah so some bugs got in... well I have no other rooms available and it’s just me here tonight so I can get you some clean sheets.” My husband went to the store and bought cleaning supplies and deep cleaned our entire room, changed sheets, pillows and pillow cases, and comforter. Signs in the hallways said no cleaning service would be available all weekend so we didn’t expect anyone else to be able to help us.
The front desk associate noted it in our log and said managers would take care of us tomorrow or thr next day.
We heard from NO ONE. At checkout when asked how was our stay I brought up again about the first night and was given an apology and told “ yeah we read about it in your log”
We won’t be staying again here and probably not at another best western.

She is tryin to take my cash deposit under and petty and false accusations. She’s just one of these people that you meet for some reason she doesn’t want to be helpful she doesn’t give a crap about her job she just wants to make your state or your life as difficult as possible and letting her know I had a cash deposit has just made her day his goal to be to get that from me. Tell me why I have four white towels in my new room’s tub washing them because they are dirty and by dirty mean I mean 2 feet yellow stains that I didn’t even know were there or my stains some brown stuff for washing the room because I wash the room back in the room Windex room sanitize the room got all the dirty laundry together took out the trash and vacuumed it to get my deposit back and she’s hitting me with this. Got the whole room on video it’s 100% sparkling in the towers you have to get up to like 1 inch to him to see a faint yellow stain in really good lighting I’ll never be back here again well this lady’s working here her team is awesome it’s too bad that she isn’t she’s not helpful she doesn’t want to book my reservation she wouldn’t help me with points she won’t let me have the room I’m in now even though I was told I could have it everything has been terribly combative with her.

The breakfast was awful. Very few options and those that they did have didn’t taste good. The alternate entrance was much closer to our room but the keycard sensor to unlock it didn’t work. Our room wasn’t cleaned or serviced in any way while we were there. The desk person was polite but even getting towels after they didn’t clean our room was difficult because he wasn’t fluent enough in English to understand us. Our room showed significant wear including a shower curtain rod that was dangling such that the curtain wouldn’t stay closed. There was also no outlet to plug in my laptop at the desk without moving furniture.
