Whenever we can, we like to first check out potential campgrounds in the area to see if they would be worth our stay. Cranberry Run is one that we "attempted" to check out. When we came to the entrance and started up the hill, we immediately got a bad feeling when we first saw the stagnant lake that I'm guessing... More

First off, I have no idea how there are so many 5 star reviews because I agree 100% with the poor ones. I emailed the campground off their website just to get some basic information. No one ever responded to our email, but we decided to go here anyway based on the other reviews. I booked a basic tent site... More

Hi, Wanted to share my wonderful experience at the Cranberry Run Campground back in August. The campground is rustic but beautiful and the owners are friendly, honest and really care about your experience. It was a chilly weekend and i was worried about not getting HOT water, however, the water was HOT and the showers were included with site fee.... More

It's nice to hear that there are people out there that still like the rustic, old fashioned camping that we enjoy so much. Rustic sites plus hot showers equals good times in my book, too! More

Our first visit 2 years ago was ok, but this trip was awesome!!! Despite being October and a bit cold (for me lol). My husband and I along with 8 friends made the trip. The grounds are beyong immaculate, location is great, facilities are very clean too. Frank and Linda took very good care of us and remembered us from... More

Ordinarily I wouldn't bother to review a place but I felt compelled because of all the bad ones. There must be new owners or something because the people running this place were very nice. It was dark and they came all the way out to the entrance to meet us and tell us where to go. Then they showed me... More

Okay for all those people that are writing bad reviews of this place I don't understand! The owners were so nice to us. We have camped in several places in the Pocono area, and when the owners saw a group of 20 somethings with tents, they didn't respond well. We have been put way out in the boonies away from... More

My boyfriend wanted to take his camper (pop up) to the Poconos, so I searched sites and found Cranberry Run, thought it would be great as near the Delaware Water Gap. Anyway, it's a good thing we did have the camper, because when it rained like crazy Saturday night, most of Sunday (july 2/3) those who had tents must have... More
