very friendly staff, clean rooms/ Walls are a bit thin. My reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is the functionality of the room. When staying in a hotel for more then a night it is nice to NOT have to live out of a suitcase. There are absolutely no drawers, no dresser not even a drawer in the night stands/table. The location of the desk is right in front of the TV. As a platinum elite Marriott member i have noticed this trend. Marriott properties get built or renovated they seem to be more interested in “modern design” then practical for travelers. It is a very nice hotel but I probably wont stay here again.
I stayed here two years ago and it was a dismal experience. This 5 day stay here was enjoyable and it seems management has gotten its act together. The location is excellent and the service at the hotel has really improved. Kudos.
While the staff was amazing and friendly, my stay quickly became a nightmare the morning I was supposed to check out. In the early morning on the day I was to check out, I was startled awake by rustling noises only to discover a mouse in my room. I quickly showered and went to pack up and discovered mouse droppings all over the top of the counter and along the base of the pull-out couch. The mouse ran through the room a couple of times between the couch, bed and under the fridge. As I finished getting ready for my day, I had dropped my charger along the one side of the couch, only to discover a stain and an old used condom. While the staff was so kind, shocked, and apologetic, I’m shocked that the room was not as clean as I had initially thought. Upon coming home, I also discovered that the mouse chewed through a pair of my bike shorts. Again, the staff was amazing, and I received a full refund for my visit, but this is definitely something to be aware of. Maybe this is an issue due to covid and not being staffed properly, but it’s definitely not something you would expect to find in a higher rated hotel. I highly suggest you check your room over before unpacking.…
It’s very convenient after a long day at Dorney Park. It’s literally across the street. You can see the building in the parking lot. When my family & I checked in, The hotel lobby A/C wasn’t working but the check in process was quick so it was okay. The rooms itself was pretty big. Beds was surprisingly comfy. However the showers had hair in it and the coffee machine was filthy. The restaurant on the property A/C wasn’t working either but after a few drinks, u can ignore it lol. The bartender was bartending & serving tables. She was alone & she was a sweetheart. The food was actually wonderful. It was truly the best hotel food i ever had. Overall my stay was okay. It was only for overnight so i can’t complain too much
TV blinks in and out. Microwave was disgusting. You can’t use the pool without walking to the front desk, having them walk you to the pool down the hallway and unlocking it. There’s even a one hour time limit. I am not wearing my swimsuit in the lobby!!!!! Marriott come on!
They clean rooms weekly, we were told So, no fresh towels, no emptying trash no coffee, no cups, no tissues. However you are paying full price. When I asked what was going on they said they thought I knew........really? After a day out, returned very tired and not even a clean paper cup. Would never stay here again.
Beautiful and clean hotel , Steven was excellent and very professional. I look forward to staying there again next month. Location was perfect close to many places. My grandson really enjoyed the pool.
When I sat down to write this review, I was very much surprised that there were so many negative ones. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly. I ate breakfast in the restaurant twice, and I have no complaints about the food. The only thing that was a little odd was having to use two remotes for the TV. It took me a while to figure those out, and it was likely just user error. Perhaps when the park is open it gets crazy and loud here, but I did not experience any of that. Thank you to the staff for being so nice.
We had some appointments in the area so stayed here for a few days. Receptionist at check in was excellent. Room was very comfortable and everything was in working order. The fridge was a nice bonus so we ate breakfast in the room as it was not included. We ate in the bar a few times and the food was good except the mini crab cakes which were a little burnt and shrivelled. There were several restaurants in the area and the LeHigh Valley Mall was a short drive away.
I used points and paid for the room for 2 nights. Stayed here for 7 days and 3 days out of the 7 day stay, my room was not cleaned, bed not made and no new towels.I can understand if one day was missed, but three! I checked out and went next door and staying at another hotel. I have stayed at Sheratons and Marriotts exclusively. In fact, I have stayed at both for over 750 night in the last 25 years. I rated my stay at this Four Points by Sheraton in the 5 top worst out of hundreds of my hotel stays. My suggestion is fine a hotel that values customer service. Mike Burns
