Location, location and location. My family from out of town enjoyed the warmth of the Delaunay House. The rooms are filled with beautiful antiques and beds are cozy. Just TWO blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and downtown, they do have the best location. The harmony suite has a full kitchen which is useful and go ahead and enjoy the...

We stayed here & really regretted it. There are 40 watt lights in some rooms but the front porch light was out & the hall light to the upstairs was out & one of us nearly fell down in the dark navigating our way. No screens in the downstairs apartment so we could not open the windows & it was...

"Oh dear! I found the white twinkly lights and both bulbs in the outdoor fixture loosened so the motion light would not work!! I am so sorry I didn't catch that. I can only guess the previous guests wanted the dark porch to star gaze. Inside the large suite there are two 40 watt wall sconces for ambiance and then...

I read many of the reviews on TripAdvisor and I was shocked by what we found. One of the rooms we rented was a small twin bed with a trundle underneath. This "room" was actually the "kitcheny" area and if you moved the table and chairs as far to the wall as possible, there was almost enough room for the...

I received a phone call from a gal saying the room she was in was misrepresented to her and did not like the trundle twin beds and the kitchenette as part of the room .I calmly listened to everything she said and told her i would have to speak with the person who reserved the room and go from there,...

The Delaunay House is a vacation rental ideally located within easy walking distance to the Shakespeare Theatre and several excellent restaurants. We stayed 4 nights in one of the suites. The bathroom was large with a nice size shower and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to prepare light hot breakfasts in the mornings and enjoy the fine...

Nestled on a quiet tree lined street just 2 blocks from quaint downtown Ashland and the Shakespeare Theatre this romantic getaway allows you to relax and forget about the "real world" for a while. I was pleasantly transported back in time as I wathched a delightful play that was first performed on Broadway in 1928 and realized that where I...

I had a chance to have an extended stay at this charming, 100-year old craftsmen in the heart of Ashland. Authentic furnishings and nice architectural details went well with the creaky floors and doors. Great character! Nice large wrap around porch for early morning coffee or wine in the evenings. Just two block from the Shakespeare festival. Multi-room first floor...

Interesting old original Craftsman style house broken up into 4 suites. Spacious. Our suite had a large bedroom, kitchenette/dining area with a day bed, and bath with tub and shower. Once nicely done, it has been a bit neglected. The old cladding tub was once refinished, but the coating is cracked, chipped, and felt grubby. They advise they don't provide...

“We did peek in the other rooms and they certainly appeared cleaner and were definitely larger. All that needs to be done to make this place rent-able is: make the closet and all drawers available for guests, clean all the soft fabrics (pillows, swags, comforters, blankets), put shelving in the bathroom for toiletries, store cleaning supplies somewhere else, and clean everything after each guest departs, including the refrigerator.”
