Noisy. Every night a busload of kids and every morning the breakfast items mostly depleted. Clean rooms, but all the ambiance of Motel 6--sheet vinyl flooring, fluorescent lighting, and the raggedy-est bath linens I have every seen. However, the location is good for walkers and the parking and wifi are free.

Not a modern boutique hotel but a clean, comfortable facility with a friendly informative staff. The rooms were very clean with ceramic not paper cups. The location made it very easy to walk to OSF and restaurants. This will be our hotel of choice when visiting Ashland.

Some sort of compressor outside bedroom window starting up and stopping all night long. Lots of people walking by being noisy on sidewalk, lots of traffic noise. Hot tub crowded all night long. Locked my debit card (put it into overdraft mode).

We are always impressed with the up keep of the interior & exterior of the bldg. Everyone is always friendly & helpful & the price is always reasonable. We have been staying there for the past 15 years & will continue. Walt

Pleasant, clean, friendly. At the edge of town. Easy walking for walkers but perhaps not so much for anyone with any mobile issues or preferences. No fitness room on site. No bar that we saw. Small pool and hot tub ( very good for kids ) Minimal breakfast. Very helpful and cheerful staff.

It's just a few blocks from the hub of town activity, very walkable. Affordable and well run. The on-site coffee house is a nice touch. The employees come almost exclusively from the university and are very well trained. It's a family-run hotel and seems about 80 percent upgraded, though the tub and sink in our bathroom seemed to have roots...

The lobby was dated and the man at the desk could have been more professional. The woman at checkout was the exact opposite. Mattresses seemed well used but the room was clean. The 2nd floor lounge was lovely with a beautiful Ashland view. The free breakfast was stark and the only protein was oatmeal. Thank goodness for coffee. The best...

Reasonable prices. Comfortable mattress, breakfast included, perfect walking distance from the theaters. Free parking. This is a great place to stay for walking to both the theaters and many restaurants.

We were traveling from Portland to SF, CA and had to make a required DOT rest stop for our driver so needed a place to hang out while he was sleeping. The Stratford and Ashland provided us with an ideal stop over offering a clean and comfortable hotel within walking distance of good coffee, breakfast and linch and shopping.

Room was fine, nothing special but, clean and convenient location. Sad choices for breakfast for a diabetic diet. Oatmeal was the best choice otherwise, all carbs and sugar! A simple hard boiled egg could have easily been done.
