When I visit Ashland -- usually 2-3 times a year -- I almost always stay at the Ashland Springs Hotel. I love the location (near everything) and the beds/pillows are very comfortable. I prefer the King rooms which are a bit more spacious with room to move. Some of the rooms are smaller and cramped -- did that once (won't...

Love this hotel! It is very clean, simple, and friendly. The rooms, although small, are just right for comfort and utility. The lobby is especially interesting with the avian display of nests, eggs, and specimens. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Lark restaurant, which is attached to the main lobby. I look forward to going back and highly recommend...

For OSF, the location is the best possible. Front desk staff is exceptionally helpful. The beautiful lobby provides a fine place to read or chat, as does the mezzanine area. This is an old, restored hotel; rooms tend to be small and walls are thin. A corner room would be particularly desirable.

The staff were wonderful here and very helpful! I rented a bike for a few days and they kept it for me downstairs locked in their office. The place was clean and i took a day of relaxation at the Waterstone Spa and had a hot stone massage! Highly recommend and very professional staff, the spa was clean and the...

The location couldn't be better. This was a lovely hotel, personable staff at the front desk and also in the dining room, which by the way was wonderful. Our server went above and beyond for us and had a great friendly attitude. The traditional king room was adequate but we will splurge for the larger king next time. Room was...

The location of this property is absolutely perfect! You can not beat it's center of town corner spot, nor the parking! Great restaurants, bars and shopping everywhere you look. The service is also top notch. Everyone goes above and beyond. The rooms are on the small side but they are clean and comfortable. We were located on the third floor...

This hotel is in the perfect location in Ashland, right in the center of downtown. The rooms were so small, we were forced to live out of our suitcase, if only there was someplace to put our suitcase. Worse, when my husband became very ill and I called to the front desk for suggestions for an urgent care center, the...

The Ashland Springs is an all-round lovely place to stay, particularly for those who are planning to see a few plays at the Shakespeare Festival. I have stayed there several times over the years, and have always enjoyed myself. The hotel has a parking lot, so I generally just park there for the duration of my visit, and walk everywhere....
