This is not the Ritz, and it is only motel we could find in the small town of Arlington on the banks of the mighty Columbia river, however it was just what we needed after a long drive in the eastern Oregon desert, with gas getting low, and darkness looming. Comfortable beds, perfectly adequate bath and toilet facilities, quiet environment...

When traveling I-84, we always stop at Arlington for the park and restrooms. I have wanted an occasion to try this motel for years. It always seemed to have many vehicles in the lot. This is the absolute last motel you should stay in if you have ANY qualms about sticky bedspreads or blood splatter patterns on the walls. I have to say in all my travels that this place was the quietest place I have ever slept in my life. When the gas station closes next door and the restaurant is closed the town is so quiet that you could hear a pin drop a mile away. I got there at about 11:30 pm the evening I stayed...
