The hotel has been completely renovated. Comfy beds, fabulous chaise/sofa combo, sparkling clean, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. The hotel breakfast (free) was the best hotel breakfast ever. The sweet lady who took care of it actually cooked the sausage in a front pan!!
We ere there to celebrate a family birthday. The hotel front desk people ( all of them) set up the breakfast area to help us enjoy dinner together (Red Lobster take out.). They even brought a microwave out for us to use. We shared some birthday cake with them. The next morning for breakfast, they showed up with a card and a goody bag for my nephew. We were flabbergasted at their sweet gesture.
You can’t go wrong here. Great people, price, and a great night’s sleep.

My husband and I stayed here on our way from Nebraska to Texas.
I really liked the floor plan of the room. It flows nicely and gives each side privacy. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the bed and the comfort of the mattress and the duvet. The air conditioner works well but the fan would not continue to circulate. The lighting is nice with lots of options. They had great customer service, I'm sure everyone tries their best. Even when calling days later they resolved my credit card issues. But that's about where it stops.
The BREAKFAST was OK… Wish there were more options for fruit and fresh pastries. The eggs are not real and there was no meat besides the sausage gravy. Even the waffles are packaged.
Upon entering the ROOM there was a huge stain on the carpet that was still sticky. We chose to wear our shoes instead of changing rooms. The hot water for the tub ran out before it was even full. I don't think the bathroom exhaust fan works. There was still moisture in the bathroom eight hours later with it running. The freezer in the kitchenette was dripping all over my items in the fridge and there was water spilling out.
Our main reason for stopping here was for both of us to use their FITNESS room after driving for nine hours. Unfortunately only one of the two treadmills worked. It was ridiculously hot in there because the fan on the wall does not operate. There was also no water in the dispenser provided. However the treadmill that did work is a nice one and it's nice that they provide towels.
I know that seems like a lot of complaints but for the price I paid, I'd still come back here and be able to overlook the negatives.

We spent two nights here, and everything was great. Bed was great, room was on side opposite of highway, so no noise. It was a very clean, room. Enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was Much better than most hotels we've stayed in. But the best thing was they found my phone a week later stuck better cushions on couch, and tracked me down to return to me. I highly recommend this hotel. We've stayed at Springhill Suites in Texas and Tennessee they are Fantastic Hotels to stay in! Thank you for having such Great employees.

Our experience was so bad here I don’t even know where to start. We decided to take a mini vacation to Ardmore and visit Lake Murray and spend a few days out on the lake. I booked this hotel a month in advance to assure we had a decent place to stay. Upon arrival the hotel was empty which is understandable on a Wed afternoon but the front desk attendant wasn’t very friendly in greeting us. Perhaps he had a bad day. I didn’t take it personal at first. Our room was clean thankfully. First night settling in wasn’t the greatest. In an empty hotel they seem to gather all their guest in one area which resulted in my room being disturbed by kids screaming and yelling. I have older kids now but I understand those days so I didn’t complain about the noise. What really set me off is whoever they decided to place above us seemed to be running and jumping all night long. It didn’t stop until 3:30am. After about 3 1/2 hours of sleep I was exhausted but enthusiastically looking forward to breakfast at least. I mean I paid for a hot Continental breakfast and I was not about to miss out. I was extremely disappointed when approaching the kitchen to find stapled bags with a sign that read Muffin, Granola bar and water. Seriously? I paid for a hot meal. This bag was literally a $3 snack but at least they were serving bananas on the side. I completely understand we went during the COVID19 pandemic but if you are not going to give me everything I paid for then do not charge me full price. The next day we left kind of early not to be in the way of the cleaning crew. My mistake to assume they were going to clean or replenish towels. They never came to our room. By the second night we had no toilet paper, no clean towels and our trash was full. Our toilet ended up clogged for no reason so I called down to the front desk and asked the attendant if they could send someone to unclog it and to also bring us clean towels and take our trash out. The lady was rude and said no one was there to unclog it but she could bring a plunger and a heavy duty trash bag to bag our trash up in. She also gave us the directions to the big trash can outside but of course didn’t bring clean towels. Thankfully I packed extra toilet paper and towels or liters we would have been S.O.L. Every attendant during our stay either wouldn’t speak to us or was rude with the exception of check out on the third day. The hotels pool was green and the hot tub was luke warm You could swim side by side with people during the pandemic or sit less than 6 ft apart in a hot tub but don’t expect them to serve you warm food! That would be to risky🤷🏼♀️ It took 3 days to be treated kindly. Very disappointed it was on our exit out and not during our stay. I have never been to a hotel who ran their business like this. I will never book at the Marriott Spring Hill Suite again and I don’t recommend staying here.

This pandemic has caused us to reevaluate a lot of our procedures as we work to find the balance with giving our guest the best accommodations as well as doing our part to slow the spread of covid-19. Some of those changes include eliminating the hot breakfast buffet and reducing the staff to go into any room that is occupied. I apologize that the information was not properly passed on to you before and when you arrived. We have corrected the issue with the swimming pool as well as the hot tub as we had those items closed for a period of time. We are also working on breakfast options that will keep our guests satisfied as well as keep our staff safe. I look forward to the opportunity to show you we are better than what you experienced.

I walked in and asked them if I can use my points for the night's stay. They recognized that I am a Titanium Elite member and they said yes, they will use my points for the nights stay. They asked for my credit card for incidentals which is normal. When I got home the following day, I received the billing and the hotel charged my credit card for the full amount for my stay for the night. I called them to remind them that they said they will charge my points. They said they could not do anything because I already checked out.
That is dishonest.

Mindy Bunch, Mgr, - not honest or forthright, said one thing & did another, do not trust what she says if you have to talk to her; front desk were new Trainee's & don't really know what they are doing; had reservation & upon arrival was told "you don't have a room here" after confirming earlier in day.. promises, promises, promises and then don't do it, don't follow thru & really don't give a D*** about what they say- just get you away from front desk or off the phone. CAVEAT - buyer beware, what your told is NOT what you end up getting. My experience only, Good luck to you if you try it.. I went elsewhere. Honestly, worst experience I've ever had at a Marriott.

If you are visiting Ardmore or just passing through, this is the place to stay. Solid renovated rooms large enough to fit a family, great pool, free breakfast and amazing staff. I have stayed at some amazing properties and the service at this hotel rivaled them.
Also, they made a teeny tiny mistake on my billing record and when I pointed it out , they corrected it in five minutes flat AND they gave me Bonvoy points which was totally unnecessary. That is truly called going above and beyond, and I may one day have to go back to Ardmore just so I can stay here again.

We arrived late, close to midnight, but the hotel was easy to find in the dark. Front desk attendant was pleasant, even given the later hour. We had two rooms for our large family. Both were clean and comfortable.

Very nice hotel with easy access off the interstate. Our large room was a double queen with separate seating area and desk. Beds were comfy and breakfast was excellent. Also has indoor pool & hot tub. Parking lot was well lit and no riffraff hanging around. Very quiet. Highly recommended.

Maybe call and ask to speak with the hotel directly and ask?
I use to work for Starwood (before the Marriott merger) and the standard check-in time across all the hotels was 3pm. You could call and ask for an earlier check-in time. You could also ask for a late check-out. Of course if you were a Starwood Preferred Guest member you were more likely to have those requests fulfilled, but non-members got lucky sometimes too.
