I love this motel. Our room was spacious and very clean with comfy beds. There is beach access on site, the stroll to the ocean was beautiful. Avon Motel is centrally located with food, drinks, shopping, basically everything you need in the immediate vicinity. The...More
We spent two nights at the Avon Motel (September 2nd & 3rd). The room (#7) needs to be upgraded from the inside out. The room was clean but had a few issues. It fit our schedule and that's why we stayed there. They had ice,...More
Called at last minute for a room and they had one left. Nice people, older motel but newly updated. Nothing fancy, just what you need for the night. Comfortable bed. Only complaint would be the loose toilet seat. Would stay again.

We just arrived at Avon Cottages (9/10/15) for our annual visit and discovered that theAvon Motel had experoenced a devastating fire that destroyed half the motel. The owners (who also the cottages) had just completed remodeling the northern row of rooms when fire started and destoroyed the whole building. They are operatingat half capacity and the Cottages are not affected except for guests having to drive past the now torn down structure. I know that the ownerswouold appreciate your patronage.
