Stayed here for 24 hours to celebrate the Chinese New Year celebration in Chinatown, Binondo. Very close to churches and the train station and Binondo. THe staff are very courteous. The room is ok but the bathroom floor is dirty.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. As mentioned earlier by another reviewer, if I did not book online, I would definitely have passed on this hotel. Prices were cheap at around $50/night, but for good reason. Bathroom was extremely small (1 meter by 1 meter) with a shower toilet and sink. Had to wait 4 hours for check-in, but still found food wrappers... More

Good site near LRT-1 Carriedo station. Nearby large street markets. If you like the area in which practically you won't meet Europeans, this place for you. The hotel rather clean (only in a bathroom on a floor there lives a mold), conditioners work perfectly. Beds excellent. In my presence there was no declared free Internet access, but near hotel there... More

Stayed one night is OK, the location is closed to Chinatown and also near Carriedo LRT.. Single room is without window in 2nd floor. It's quite and there's a restaurant downstair which still have the service at 10: 00pm and the price is reasonable. But some of our favorite dishes choose, they said out of order, so we are unable... I found the previous predominantly negative reviews to be at odds with my recent 22 day stay at Golden City Hotel. In terms of location you couldn’t ask for better – right next to the LRT station, a 3 minute walk to three different enormous supermarkets (plus a number of smaller stalls), right on the edge of the Quiapo based... We have booked 4 nights, but we had to change hotel. That was the dirtiest room ever, other people hair everywhere, mold in bathroom. We asked for the quiet room ,and got one but without windows, and with not so functional air con so it was impossible to bread from the sticky air. Drainage from air con was going straight... More
