The hotel is clean, practical and a minute away from from the ferry terminal. It's a great choice if you're staying in Male for a night or two and before going to any islands. Good and free WiFi. Friendly Receptionist. They offer breakfast in a hotel next door. There was a lot of noise due to construction in the neighborhood.

We stayed five years ago in this hotel as well. It is a good place to stay for one or two nights. Right now it is a little noisy because they are building a new hotel opposite Mookai Hotel. The pool area is closed till January 2017. In the meantime you can use the pool of Kam Hotel nearby. The...

located in waling distance from ferry terminals. Room is spacious with new interior and bathroom is quite big and new. Front staff service is really good. I will definably stay in this hotel next time as well. Only draw back is its too expensive but its good value

One night at the Mookai was okay. Clean, large rooms in convenient location to harbour, markets, sights. Busy road outside isn't too noisy on higher levels and cross at your peril!Free wifi and friendly reception staff too. Ideal for a stopover.

Only stayed one night before catching boat. Location is ideal, short walk from ferry. Rooms are small but comfortable and pretty clean. We had an en-suite with a good size bathroom, water from shower was cold but other members of our party had a hot shower, just luck I suppose. Fairly noisy at street level so ask for a room...

This was a decent hotel. Room was very small, but location was close to ferry and was only an in transit hotel, so worked great! Pool was out of service while I was there....not sure how long that will last. Room was clean and shower had hot water.

We only used the hotel as a first night stopover but it met all our needs. Its clean with comfy beds and good showers. Also has spacious lounge areas on each floor to relax in. Its very near the harbour and a few minutes to the sites (what there are in Male).Only failure was the pool which was "out for...

For a one night sleep this hotel offers a short walk from the airport ferry and comfortable rooms. A pool on the roof gives you a chance to cool down. Make sure you book a high room as noise from the street can be an issue.

Stayed overnight on arrival & separately on departure, was upgraded to 'Royal Suite' both times. Located on 10th floor, it is accessible via stairs from 9th floor (the highest lift will take you!)!. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful with enquiries. Someone tried to open door to my room one evening, called Reception to report immediately. She called back...
