So much better than I anticipated you really must stay. My expectations were not too high considering the cost but wow it was great . Pick up from airport was so easy, welcome was very professional and friendly. The room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. More channels on satellite tv than the 5 star hotel in Dubai. Breakfast was amazing especially considering it was free! They even coordinated our transfer to our next resort. Great roof top terrace. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Very good modern hotel with shuttle service. Nice staff checked in quickly. Beautiful view of the sunset from the roof of the hotel and the window of the restaurant, the dinner turned out great. a great option to wait out the flight and just see Male. The only nuance to which you need to be prepared is the sound of a prayer from the nearest temple.

I accidentally left my favourite checkered shirt in the hotel cupboard before going to Sangeli Island. Realizing my mistake I dropped a message to the hotel telling them that I would drop by on my last day in Maldives to pick it up. Little did I expect that they would message me back, telling me that they will arrange for my shirt to be delivered to my resort, which is about a 55 minute boat ride away from Male. I got my favourite shirt back in a days time, folded nicely in a hotel laundry bag. They didn't have to do it, but they went above and beyond to do it anyways, and I'll always be grateful for that. A definite recommend.

Due to flight schedules, had to spend the night in Male. Good choice of a hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced property close to the airport. Communication with the hotel was superb. Shuttle service from the airport. Very convenient for an overnight stay. The rooms are rather small, they do have sea views, however the hotel is not sea front. Calls to prayer were very calming and didn't bother us. Breakfast is limited. Dinner was nice at the rooftop.

This hotel was good for the price. What makes the hotel good is the customer service. The location is okay. They have a shuttle service to the airport. Breakfast was okay for what it’s worth. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a budget hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Everything was very well organized by the hotel. From the moment we got off the plane to the moment our flight took off. The service was very good, polite and pleasant. We felt very welcome. The room is smaller, but not as small as it is said in previous posts. It probably depends on your preferences. It fits very well for one night. The city is full of mosques and seemed to me that there are activities and various announcements all the time. You will hear it all, it doesn't matter in which room you stay in. The walls are airy and the neighbors are well heard. Rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food was good. One suggestion for the rooftop restaurant - I wish the staff didn't harass clients with Tripadvisor posts. They are probably somehow evaluated by how many times they have been mentioned in the post. Anyway, I felt a little uncomfortable in this situation.…

Stayed one nite as transit to our resort. This is a relatively small hotel which has 11 floors and supported by only 1 lift. Each floor that has accomodation has 4rooms. All rooms face the mosque which is almost right next to the hotel. Though there were many reports about the prayer calls and the staff did warn us that there would be prayer calls at 2am...I heard it but it was disturbing loud and managed to sleep through it. There is a restaurant on the 10th floor which is also where the complementary buffet breakfast is served. The 11th floor is a terrace which provides a good view of the surrounding. From the time I made the booking via TripAdvisor link to the hotel, communication with the hotel was swift. They answered my quries fast. Hotel provided complimentary airport transfer which was one main reason I chose this hotel. The airport transfer was very smooth and they coordinated with Trans Maldavian Airways for my onward flight and made sure that I arrived at the airport timely. The room isn't big but had a king sized bed and to accommodate this large bed there was only one side table. The room was of reasonable size and extremely clean. Toiletries were provided except shaver and bedroom slippers. I like this hotel for its friendly and supportive staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.…

We had a wonderful stay at Samann Grand. Airport transfers to and from were seamless. The food was absolutely incredible and so reasonably priced! All of the staff were attentive and so helpful. Our room was set up perfectly for a family of 4. I found the morning calls to prayer lovely and calming although I understand those who aren't used to it may find it different. Highly recommend for stays between island transfers!

The hotel has a great location. It is very convenient to the airport by either boat or car. The King Salman Mosque and artificial beach are just steps away. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Best of all was the service. Thanweer Fazil went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic stay.
