Spoilt milk and cockcroaches over breakfast. Dirty water coming out of the faucet; without proper notification to guests. Even the receptionist is not aware of the piping repair. Has to improve with both internal and external communication.
Amazing hotel. Clean and modern. Im coming to this hotel again! Its amazing the service is very good the view is nice and the hotel is so clean! Amazing hotel. The hotel room is spacious, clean, modern and nice. This is one of the best hotels I have visited.
We are currently staying in the ascott at the time of writing. Our toddler is unwell at the moment and so we had requested for the sheets to be changed. This was refused by housekeeping who had left a note stating that they do not change the sheets daily. This is despite the fact that their written policy is that they would change the sheets upon request. Disgraceful. One would think that in the era of Covid, cleanliness would be made a priority. Additionally they chose to conduct their hot water maintenance from 3pm-9pm. Somewhat puzzling as one would imagine that it would be the peak usage time. Our sick toddler had to wait until past 9pm to have a shower. This is our second stay at this establishment as our previous experience was a very pleasant one. Following this latest debacle, we will not be returning, and will be advising the same. …
Pros: - Good value for money considering the price we paid - Located approximately 5 mins walk from the main transport hub (KL Sentral) - Nu Sentral shopping mall approximately 5 mins walk away - Room feels more like a serviced apartment and relatively spacious Cons: - No housekeeping on Sunday
This was a short stay in KL to visit family. Great location near express train from airport. The apartment was spacious and beautifully appointed. The bed was very comfortable. We made good use of the gym as it was the best one we’ve seen in all the hotels we’ve stayed in. Very airy and great equipment. Used the pool too. Lovely. Would come back in a heartbeat. Staff were very polite and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stress free stay! 5stars.
We booked a 2 room apartment for 5 days. The location was fantastic. It is within walking distance to KL Sentral which is the transportation hub of KL. There is a big shopping complex nearby and multiple restaurants. The staff were very polite and pleasant. Check in was a breeze. The breakfast was adequate and we really liked having the washer and dryer in the apartment. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
We are travelling in a bigger group this round hence looking for suites with 2 rooms with a living room. I found out Ascott Sentral that meet our needs. We arrived at night and directly stop at the lobby then only realised we missed the turn to the car park after asking the receptionist. Not too sure if the direction wasn't clear provided by the receptionist or a miss communicate, we made a another big turn and took us around 30 minutes to reach back to the car park. The way up to the car park is EXTREMELY ridiculously narrow!! We saw a lot of scratches on the wall caused by the poor driver who is having difficulties navigating. Checked in was smooth. When we saw the room, we were surprised to see the suite is huge! Equipped with a kitchen and nice a living room, not to forget the 2 rooms are huge as well with en suite bathroom. We were impressed but not very after I spotted an army of tiny ants in 1 of the room. We did not get the hotel breakfast after reading the bad review of it. Location wise, not so convenient except it is close to a shopping mall few blocks away. Couldn't find any nearby convenient store. As the swimming pool, not impressed at all as the building just besides some offices. All in all, recommended for a big families as the room is huge, a decent living room, washing machine, dish washer in the kitchen.…
My room was on the high floor with lots of sunlight, very clean and large with a full kitchen and separate bedroom with a corner view. Well equipped with Nespresso machine (with 2 complementary pods), a big fridge, bath tub, comfortable sofa & bed, etc. Location is pretty good as it’s in walking distance to KL Sentral station. HOWEVER there were some negatives. - STAFF: upon checking in, there was no welcoming vibe nor smiles. I had to type in my particulars by myself to do “self-check in”, it was aloof and much less professional than I’d expected. Moreover, I had to checkout early morning to catch my flight but there was absolutely no one at the front desk. I had to shout and walk around to look for someone! A while later a guy in a sleepy look came out with a sloppy shirt on, obviously just woke up. He did checkout without any apologies nor greetings whatsoever. It was awful. - SHOWER: water pressure was too weak. The hand shower hook was broken, so I couldn’t use it. - NOISE: there was a strange noise from the AC throughout the night. Glad I bought my earplugs. - ANTS: many seen in the kitchen and bathroom. - TV: supposed to be a Smart TV but no YouTube / Netflix were available. Channels were very limited. Maybe I should have told the staff about the facility problems but I couldn’t because I was taken aback. All in all, I’m not sure if I want to stay there again. I guess they have staff shortages after the Covid hiatus?? I expected something special and different from Ascott brand, but ended up with a disappointment.…
I had booked this for a business trip as most hotels in the area are fully booked. Poorly maintained as pipes busted during our stay, internet kept disconnecting, most appliances not working or staff does not know how to operate. Terrible service and management. Most of the time, guest service is not available or not in desk. We had to wait for our food delivery for 45mins - 1 hour which already arrived at the reception just because staff is not available on the desk or was not paying attention. Told us "shower gel is out of stock" when we were asking for it to use in the bathtub since the shower gel in the shower is locked and too high for my son to reach which was obviously a lie.
Staying 22 to 26 August, unfortunately the management has remained silent regarding the faulty air conditioner situation for the past 12 hours despite efforts to contact. Please provide your tenants an update on the status.
