Need a staycation location in the midst of this travel cessation? MiCasa has got you covered. Honestly one of the most underrated hotels in KL for the price! It’s an old building but maintained very well and the location is perfectly suited for a walk/Beam scooter ride around the city center. The staff, in particular the Manager, Elves, are extremely helpful. This was not my first time staying here and it certainly won’t be my last. Already planned my next trip back!

We stayed here for a night in March and were absolutely amazed at the quality of service and treatment. While some of the hotels were understandably embarking on cost saving measures, Micasa went above and beyond to provide us with a comfortable stay. Thank you Elves and team! 😍

Great staycation in KL, spacious room and well maintained. I love the swimming pool! However need to make reservation with 1 hour usage per guest, due to pandemic. Breakfast was served in the room, which we also enjoyed it and felt safer. Overall satisfied!

Honestly my husband and I were amazed with the hospitality of the staff. We've been to 5 star hotels in the past but the staff, especially Nelly the snr duty manager went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We booked our stay just a day before. The staff were very attentive to our requests. Nelly, even called us a day before and offered to upgrade us to a pool view and king bed because it was our anniversary staycation. Check in is usually at 3pm but we received a call at 11am from her to say that our room was ready. Check in was a breeze and Nelly thoroughly explained all the amenities and SOP's. The rooms are well maintained and huge. There's actually a kitchen, equipped with an induction cooker, toaster, microwave oven that looks like it could fit a whole chicken/cake, pots and pans, cutlery and a huge fridge too. We even got a personalised card and two muffins to celebrate our anniversary. Pools are open with SOP of course. Only 4 families allowed in the pool at a time and max duration of 1 hour, which needs to be booked in advanced.

Overall, I'm really impressed and would definitely give this place a 9/10. The lobby could use a bit of updating but the rooms are comfy and well maintained. Far exceeds my expectation of a 3 star hotel. If you're yearning for a staycation or long stays, i'd highly suggest coming to this hotel. You'd be pleasantly surprised.

I was staying in this hotel for a long period of time, almost 2 years! The place is amazing. It' s all what you need. Breakfast (which was included) is European with a great variety of food, rooms are clean and cleaning was done daily. The persons at the reception were very friendly and usefull, providing good information to my questions. I must mention here Nelly Naliza from the front desk who was doing all her best to see Micasa as a second home and to solve imediatelly any issue related to accomodation. If I will visit again Kuala Lumpur, I will not hesitate to make a reservation at this hotel.

The hotel is not hard to locate and upon arrival, we were greeted by a helpful and friendly bellboy who took our luggage up for us after a really tiring day. We had a lot of luggage as we were moving out somewhere. The front desk was quick and thorough with the check-in and gave me all the necessary information. The room is great, everything functions as it should and it looks so cozy. I spent a whole day in as the pandemic prevented us from roaming the city. It was a comfortable and relaxing day. The utilities in the kitchen include a microwave and oven which greatly helped in making our take-out meals taste superb. Overall, it was a great experience, good job!

This is my first trip to this hotel and I was mesmerized by the studio room. Thought it was said to be the smallest room, I love the fact that it provides pantry in it. Everything was fully furnished like a 5-star hotel but you can get it at lower price. Spacious, convenient and looking forward to stay here again in the future.

Having a bad experience with a different apartment suite last Saturday, my friends and I decided to find another solution. So we called Micasa to find out if they still have available rooms for the weekend. Thanked God they have available rooms. The enquiry via phone call was pleasant and the staff was really helpful. I was even given the option to choose which available floors which suits us best (of course I chose the higher floor).
Our check in process went smoothly and we were pleased to have a counter staff by the name of Mr Elton who is not only efficient, courteous, but also attentive to our needs. We were greeted with the smile and immediately we feel the warm welcome to MiCasa. We even shared with him (Mr Elton) about out recent bad experience with the other apartment suite. Mr Elton is a great listener and even provided us with two special vouchers for the hotel restaurant worth RM30 off on each vouchers, just to make us feel welcomed. We were explained about the rooms, charges, etc.Parking in the building was free, and parking was easily obtained and easily accessible. We requested for two connecting rooms and the entire experience was one that is worth every penny!! The rooms were clean, spacious, bathrooms were huge, beds and pillows were so comfortable (all 4 of us had a great sleep & great rest while we were there), kitchen utensils are provided, air conds are in a great condition, wi fi service worked well during our stay & the food from the restaurant were also not bad! The entire one night stay was great as we had a great time relaxing in the room and enjoying the tranquility without being bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city life. A totally great experience and this place is highly recommended.

Hello Micasa,

Your room, breakfast , hospatility all good. However i would like to complain on your reservation customer service. i called your reservation to check whether i can change the check in date as i wrongly select the date. she replied with very impolite way saying that ‘ oh this one you bought at promotional price, cannot change the date anymore otherwise the normal rate is RM350 and she repeated MANY times about the price that i pay which i find it rude as a customer . look here, i did not request for any discount of the room. i request to change the check in date . If it cannot be done, she can just reply ‘ sorry ms, its already captured in our system and cannot be change anymore. Any amendment can only be made 3 days before arrival date. As simple as that. she dont have to be so rude by keep repeating i buy at cheap price and RM260 still money for me.
So i purposely check available rooms at micasa on agoda and other website as well on that requested date. Many rooms are still available and the rate still the same and some other website can get even cheaper . Is okay i understand if the hotel have their own policy but please educate your back office on how to handle customer more ethically.

Thanks.

We spent 3 night here recently whilst KL was under lock down, which was unfortunate.
All of our meals were served to our rooms and unfortunately they tried to serve us an American breakfast which was always cold when we got it. We understand the difficulties but a Continental breakfast would have been more successful. We had a room service dinner each night and each one was excellent. In normal circumstances I'm sure this hotel would be excellent. The rooms were superb and well furnished.

Malaysia uses British standard square 3 pin sockets and works on 240 volts so you would need the same type of adaptor you would use in the UK.

MiCasa has both indoor and outdoor parking. For indoor parking the ceiling height is sufficient to allow parking for standard cars as well as vehicles such as Toyota people movers, 4 WD drive trucks such as Hilux, Ford Ranger etc.

Dear Mrs Men, as per most high rise hotels, the access doors to the fire staircases are one way to ensure egress is directed to the ground levels and as such, you are not able to walk up stairs to other floors. Gavin Fletcher General Manager
