I tried to find a top-rated location with above-average service and breakfast. Unfortunately, the rooms and facilities inside are dated. No shower gel in the room. After I called the reception to ask for some items: nobody arrived for refill. The reception and entrance hall area make an impression. However, everything else does not level up. Many things would require serious maintenance and refurbishments. Breakfast? No buffet. Only a selection of 5 or 6 sets is on offer. The preparation took ages despite the fact that only a couple of guests were in the restaurant.
Went there several times for having dinner, but this time we went there for stay as we have one wedding event in KL. All hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and our check-in was smooth as well. Room condition is good and clean, with view facing TH & PNB building, with two unit of aircond, one in the bedroom and another at the living area. The kitchen has one electric stove, kettle and also fridge. Currently dining is only at Binjai on the ground floor as another 2 restaurant still closed. So many selection for breakfast, you can either enjoy it inside or outside of the restaurant.
Just 1 night stay at 2 bedrooms rooms. Quite spacious rooms with Living hall, dining area & kitchenette. Suitable for a family 4-5. Check in : No issue as we arrive after 3pm and the rooms is ready. Check out : No issue & fast Rooms: Nice & Spacious Bathrooms: Big bathtub but a mold-smell at shower area (need improvement) Pools : Hotel restrict for 1 hours only (40 guest at a time) Parking : FOC for hotel guest. Breakfast : Although the selection is not so many, but the taste is Good. Pros: Walking distance to KLCC (500m-1km) Cons: There is construction near the walking area to KLCC. The shortcut road at KLCC mosque is close. Building block the KLCC view. I may try the 3 bedrooms room in future.
Check in - Took forever, waited for more than one hour while standing. Lobby was warm. No welcome drinks provided. Lifts very slow. Big swimming pool Good breakfast selection, coffeehouse staffs were courteous.
First time staying here. The concierge staff very helpful. Check in and checked out is smooth. Room condition is good but the furniture is quite old. Food is okay. Location just nice. Parking space and road into the parking quite narrow.
This was such good value. I booked a 2 room apartment on their website and got a good discount. For sure the property is older. But the furniture and bedding was good quality, there was beautiful artwork hanging, both shower and bathtub in the main bedroom. We would have stayed here just for the breakfast. Freshly made croissant and Danish pastry. Good coffee. Note the room aircond was not that cold. There was construction near the hotel but the noise was minimum and did not bother us.
I stayed here with my friends for a program months ago. I am well satisfied with the room. This hotel provides all the equipment that we need. The room is spacious. The breakfast is super good. I'm not really sure about the price since it is fully sponsored by a company.
I will start with this -- please get the toilet flush handles in Room 2706 fixed. I am sure I am not the first to have raised this issue. Also, what kind of a hotel uses polyester material for its duvet cover? This is my first hotel experience where such material is used as a duvet cover. I have to sleep with the cover off; luckily the inner is made of cotton even if it's a cheap coarse cotton material but definitely way more comfortable than the thick polyester fabric cover (this is what I mean by lacking in the finishing touch). Other than that, I agree that the hotel room charge is cheap (considering its location). The 3-bedroom premier apartment is quite spacious, each room has its own TV (good for long term stay; no fighting over TV channels). The kitchen is fully equipped. But again, it lacks the finishing touches. The apartment is poorly decorated. It's not just about getting decorative stuff in but the hotel can at least start by getting a professional to arrange the frames (which currently are oddly placed). My kids have been raving about the freshly baked pastries (baked right next to the buffet table) for breakfast. That's a plus point. Other than that, there is nothing special about the buffet spread. And btw, the management may remind the young man who handles the "roti canai" to please serve based on first-come-first-serve. I think this would be my first and last visit to this hotel. No hard feelings but I feel no reason to want to stay here again.…
Huge room, comfy beds & pillows. Never mind the outdated TV & not so tidy tub, the unexpectedly delicious breakfast and the freshly baked croissants make up for all the shortcomings. Plus, super fast and easy check-in and out. Thumbs up! Will surely recommend.
Finding a hotel with balconies is so difficult in KL I was happy to return to a studio at Perdana, though it was on the 16th floor, too high for me. Unfortunately the Chinese New Year lasting two weeks coincided with my visit resulting in queuing at the breakfast and crowding at the pool. I would have liked to eat more fresh fruit with my coffee, but the choice was limited and wasn't stocked up when it finished. Another complaint are the ethnic Malay at the pool, oblivious of the hygieny rule of appropriate swimwear jumping in fully clothed chanting " I am muslim!" The timid, non English speaking pool staff stand by helplessly and stare.
