We booked a twin room from the Corus Hotel website itself, as it didn't seem to have a queen/king option. When we arrived on the 23rd, I asked if it was possible to request for a queen bed. We were then upgraded to a King sized bed, and a room with a corridor and poolside access! We could hear steady water dripping from the corridor roof throughout our stay though, and there was a slight damp smell which I'm guessing comes from that. But it wasn't bad enough to spoil our enjoyment there.p Then on the wee hours of the 25th, my toddler wasn't feeling too well, and a guy with glasses at the reception that morning (I wish I got his name!) was so helpful when I asked if they had a thermometer. Shout out to the security guy too who came with the only thermometer they had: the big, store-kind forehead scanner. When I later went down for breakfast, that same receptionist stopped me and asked about my son. I hope you'll help me find out who this guy is and thank him again on my behalf. Truly grateful for the impeccable service!…
This is my second time visit and I really enjoy staying here. The room was spacious comfortable and sanitized. The morning breakfast was somewhat limited but I really like the sambal nasi lemak. And it tastes delicious and spicy.
hotel lobby gave good impression welcoming guests. the room does not. It gives a different look and feel. hotel pls focus on the details. hotel top mgmt go stay there 2 nights so you know wat we meant
The bathtub doesn't close up properly for me to make a good warm bath after a long day. The entrance light doesn't work. The air conditioning isn't as cooling as i expected. Please improve the conditions of the rooms. The lobby area is still classy as ever but the rooms is questionable. It's a good hotel, would love to stay again if there is solid improvements
strategic location , fine food , centre of kualla lumpur, beautiful, nice staff, near food truck, near mall , ver convinient , nice hotel, clean hotel, best pool , must have extra parking, must have lift at parking basement
Terrible experience started with; 1) Hotel Front Desk - doesn't provide room as per booking. Booked room bathtub, provide standing shower room. Told the person we booked room with bathtub, she changed it. But gave us wrong bedding arrangement. We booked twin bed room, stated clearly on our room booking. Requested to change again. End up, a right room but bed sheet with CURRY stain and MUSTY SMELL at 4th floor. Called to the reception ask if they could change the bed sheet, but they told us go down to change the room. 2) Staff - brought us to a room at 7th floor to check the room if its okay. We tried to check if there is stain on bedsheet, but the staff WARNED us not to flip up the blanket .... But we can see a lot black stain on the blanket cover itself. So we asked if there is other room but the staff said; MISS, YOU SHOULD GO TO NEXT DOOR 5-STAR HOTEL. Right. Peoples, guess I made wrong choice to stay here. 3) Musty Smell - could be too long not having people stay over the pandemic, the room is old as well. 4) Room cleanliness/facilities - dusty curtain, unknown hair found, shaky water tap as you open and off it. Their room definitely need refurbished after the 2 years pandemic for an old hotel. Goodside: 1) Hotel Manager - brought us to a decent room at 10th floor, "upgraded". Yes, still got little black spot stain, but we accepted. Lesser musty smell compared with 4th and 7th floor. Apologies on what the staff said and admitted the unprofessional of the staff. 2) Location - 1 min walk to the Tapak Urban Street Dining, 3mins walk to Avenue K, 5mins walk to KLCC. If not for the location, not gonna stay here. Dear hotel management or whoever gonna reply this, stop reply to your bad review with official "auto-reply". We all see your same reply over and over agian. Please please do something to improve it to the standard of 4-star at least as claimed on your official website.…
Booked for smoking room with bathtub. But was given different room. Check in suppose to be 2pm but only at 3pm can check in. Request to change to smoking room which we booked for, cannot, need to wait for other people to check out.
The hotel is cheap because it’s cheap. Good location and friendly staffs and that’s it. Everything else is either old, broken, stained, faulty , noisy or smelly. So when you throw peanuts, be prepared to get monkeys.
Horrible breakfast, no value for money. The curtain is not cleaned or changed. Even though we made a booking and reserved payment for one king-size bed, but when check-in is not available! Parking space is very limited. The room was not ready for one king-size bed and we need to wait for the housekeeping. The only thing good was the dinner at Ming Palace Restaurant.
This is my second time stay here. Walking distance to KLCC, AVENUE K, LRT STATION (KLCC). At night there is Tapak Urban (food truck) just beside the hotel. Variety of food you can get. Totally perfect location.
