It had been over 2 years since our visit. The staff at the Westin remembered us , we were given a warm welcome from the very beginning from the hotel porters , to the Manager Saad . The hotel has exceptional staff , always helpful in every way . It is very clean. We returned to the Club room, and enjoyed Happy Hour , the food & drinks just as good as always. The hotel is conveniently located in Bukit Bintang. It’s is a simply wonderful hotel

I would always come back. The details perfectly taken care as a priority from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the food in each of all restaurants is simply extraordinary. As Mexicans we look for the warm service we are offered in our country and the staff pleasantly surprised us. Special thanks to our concierge Najib to be so dedicated an professional, without him nothing could be the same in our visit. To Said, Westin Club’s Manager for being so patient and lovely with our family. And Dinesh for always support us. Everybody is reflected in this 3 exceptional people. We ❤️ Westin Malaysia 🇲🇾

My ‘short’ stay at this excellent hotel was made even more enjoyable by friendly attentive staff. Special thanks to the helpful bellboys and concierge. Club lounge staff Nick, Hassan, Bosco and Eunice provided the best service in a big hall with a great view of the shopping district in Kuala Lumpur,

Not sure if the pandemic was to blame, but Westin’s standards has really dropped since pre-pandemic. I used to love them previously, but after my latest stay, i’m probably not going back for a long time. Check-in: I arrived and was served by a very unfriendly and inhospitable looking gentleman. No smiles, no greetings, no eye contact whatsoever. Looking at this gentleman’s name tag, I saw that his passion was in “European Travellers”. I’m Asian, so maybe only European travellers will get the proper service that any guest should deserve? Fine, I looked past it. Asking him questions, he was always mumbling the answers without establishing eye-contact. I do however have to give praise to the bellhop who was polite, attentive, and cheerful. Rooms were practically the same as before, which I thought looked a bit dated, but since I was only there for 1 night, it didn’t bother me. Breakfast was decent with quite a huge selection of food, but again, maybe Westin should train their staff to smile and greet guests as they come and leave. Check-out: Same experience as check-in, less the “racial profiling”. During check-in, I was not told about the hotel parking fees. I did not mind that I had to pay for parking, but what I minded was that the lady assisting in my check out did not give me proper instructions. I ended up having to walk back up to reconfirm about parking payment, and the answer I got was a very simple just pay at the exit. If she had said it earlier during my check-out process, I wouldn’t have had to waste time going back up. The way she answered me basically made me feel like I was in the wrong for not asking the question earlier. Until and unless Westin KL brushes up their standards, take your money elsewhere. JW Marriott next door would have been money well spent compared to Westin. And yes, I stayed in JW on this same trip only 3 days later.

I had a wonderful stay over a weekend. Booked a king bed room with club lounge access. The walk from the car park to the hotel reception was a little confusing probably because I used the wrong lift. Check in was otherwise smooth with a friendly check in staff. The room was nice and in good condition. Comfortable bed. The club lounge was excellent. Very spacious and friendly staff serving drinks. Limited snacks in the afternoon but the evening cocktail was good. Breakfast there was also good very a good spread. Less crowded compared to the restaurant but more limited spread. Check out was smooth through the Club Lounge.

The plan was 2 nights… but with the upgrade to The Westin Residence, I extended another 12 nights! Cozy, spacious & discreet! Easy access to Bukit Bintang. And most importantly, the staff makes you feel at home. Breakfast: The Living Room: If you are on a diet… you are destined to fail. Superb Malay cuisine… nasi lemak, nasi dagang, nasi briyani, nasi kerabu, sometimes lemang with rendang beef/chicken, curry lamb, gulai fish, serunding & the best of all… sambal sotong! The menu changes on daily basis though. Indian corner is good too serving thosai, roti, idli, poori, vadai, dal, chutney & putu mayam too. Take a roti add on the perfectly timed half-boiled eggs with dal & sambal. Complete it with a piping hot teh tarik! Make sure you do carry extendable clothings. Chinese noodles do carry the variety but once you look at the condiments of choices… you can skip… it is just not appetizing. Western & bakery sides are standard with good varieties & there is a DIY sandwich counter! There is also lots of snacks & choices of fresh juices. Special thanks to Tiffany for being efficient & smart ensuring our breakfast session being enjoyable every time. The staff at the Living Room are all very courteous & helpful all the time. Lounge: Bright & cozy. Thanks to Said, Nic, Eunice, Hasan & Haikal for their hospitality during our stay. The lounge served great foods too! Management: It is not everyday you get to see the management team running around ensuring things are in order, supporting the staff while approaching guests for a hello. Gregory & Rajesh both are very outgoing & lead by doing as example. Personally, I saw Gregory squat down to straighten the floor carpet at the lobby to ensure no one could trip over. Rajesh pushes & carries luggages for guests with the concierge team as there are many coming in & going out. Lead by example! Work as a team! The staff are lucky to have these management team leading them.
