Stayed at MO over the weekend, my first time there. I know this hotel is quite popular with families due to it's location which is just next to Suria KLCC. So if you are staying during weekends i suggest go for the club room so you can skip the queue at the lobby and have a designated check in/check out at the club lounge. The lounge was amazing, amazing staff. Eventhough the service was quite slow on the 2nd night, but it was understandable as they are probably understaffed/just recently hired interns. The service was amazing, food was great. Great facilities as well. The benefits they offer for Fans of MO were amazing as well, so do sign up for that! Shout out to the amazing staff at the Club Lounge and Mr Tajul who works at the pool area for outstanding services

Another Staycation at the Mandarin Oriental, this time for our daughter's birthday celebrations. We checked into a room with views overlooking the fountain and park, room with a king size bed which was comfortable for 2 adults with a child, all amenities were as to our expectations of a 5 stars Hotel accommodation. We spent time relaxing  and chilling out at the pool deck area and splashing around in the infinity pool, it's a cool place to enjoy views of the green park and city too. We had our meals at the Lounge on the Park, a very relaxing and comfortable venue to dine at any time of the day, meals that we had here for our lunch and dinner were all delicious. Services provided by all staff was excellent at all times, right from the Concierge, Front Desk , Lounge on the Park and Aqua at the pool deck. Overall, we as a family had a great Staycation.

The best feature of this hotel is its location. The others - including the personnel, amenities are expected of a hotel of this class. One extremely poor 'highlight' was the food selection, quality and quantity for Sunday buffet dinner and breakfast in Mosaic. I cannot believe this restaurant recently celebrated its 10th anniversary given the low quality food on offer. It would not be exaggerating to say that the Sunday buffet dinner is the worst among the 5 stars hotels in Kuala Lumpur for the price charged. Like wise the breakfast was also a far cry from its competitors. Unfortunately, I do have another stay coming up. Will have to lower expectations accordingly, then it will be acceptable I guess. After which it shall be sayonara !

Checked in here this time. Usually am a loyal guest of Shangri La but just thought of trying somewhere else for a change Booked a park view suite that came with club access. Checked in at almost 7 pm and just made it for cocktail. Was told that we missed afternoon tea. Being used to standards in Shangri-La thought of doing tea before driving back to Johor today upon checkout only to be told it can apply only on day of check in and not on a one time per night basis. Disappointing that they are so calculative knowing it doesn't cost much. Will not return. Shangri-La thinks about longevity better compared to MO
