Palmmers guest house was really nice! Our room had windows to the roof so there was hardly any noise wich was nice. The joined showers were pretty good, hot water most of the time! Only negative thing was that it was really hard to find the guest house, the taxi driver didn't know were the street was, so look the...

Terrific locoation (right next to the famous "Central Market"); heart-warming staff and im talking way beyond a nice smile in the morning; good prices (cost/performance ratio is outstanding and if not, the staff is open for granting discount); free breakfast for everyone; a variety of rooms: fine remote-controlled-aircon dormatories with a little privacy (4 beds per room), as well single,...

After I got a lot of bedbug bites and actually saw more than 5 bugs crawling on our bed on the secound night, we didn't have a good feeling to stay at this place any longer and asked for a refund of the remaining night. The manager told us that refunds are never paid out because his boss would not...

People at front desk really helpful and friendly. Not on a great street, but very close to central market and china town. Room average, no actual window, only timber shutters so noisy at nights. Bathrooms are real let down, only two combined toilet/shower cubicles for entire hostel. Long queues in mornings to use facilities.

I stayed two days in Palmmers Guesthouse on my way back from KL to Cambodia. This guesthouse gave me a warm and homely feel. The owners are two amazing people and work incredibly hard to make your stay worthwhile. After a whole night of travelling, I arrived in the early morning and was offered a room temporarily to get some...

I was really disappointed of this Guest House, as reviews here were overall positive. I cannot understand these good reviews at all. There is only one tiny bathroom (2 toilets with showers) for all the people staying there (hey don't have rooms with attached bathroom). The shared bathroom was really dirty and one of the toilets didn't work (people were...

We're happy were able to book in this guesthouse. The place is safe. Doors (lobby and main entrance to the receiving room) are both protected with electronic lock. The room (family room) is big, more than enough to accommodate 6 persons. The guesthouse in general is clean. You have to take off your shoes outside. We paid 84MYR for 1...

We stayed in Palmmers Guest House for a couple of nights and thought it was great. The staff are very friendly, the hostel is very clean, quite secure and in an excellent location close to Central Market, Chinatown, lots of place to eat and shopping centre. The common area is fairly large, wi-fi internet access is free, it is a...
