Petaling street is located right in Chinatown in the city Kuala Lumpur. In the street itself there are many hotels, rate are affordable and if you just need a bed to sleep & a place to stay then this is the right place. In this area ( Chinatown ) the whole street of about half km long is full of...

The hotel looks more like a metal hospital than a hotel. The rooms are okay but sheets are a bit dirty. the worst part is that they make you leave a deposit of 7$ usd. But at the end they never give it back and most people forget it. Avoid staying here.. there are many other hotels in china town...

I admitted the hotel was beyond my ecpextaction. The fare was affordable and the room was pretty comfortable and clean. But I was disturbed with foreign visitors who made loud noises at night. This hotel is recommended for backpackers.

This is the 4th place I have stayed in KL over a period of 4 years. It is very good value. When you take into account its location and facilities. If you want a 4star hotel with all mod cons this is not for you, if you want a simple clean room at a great price in the heart of...

We only stayed one night, have stayed before. Rooms have no windows but it is cheap! Was supposed to be a non smoking room but smelt of cigarettes and had an ashtray on bedside table. Fantastic location as in centre of Chinatown markets. Due to no windows, no noise from outside, but walls are thin so can hear noise from...

We arrived at 6.00AM, and we could check in immediately. Which was really nice, so we had a place to stay till we were going to see the city. It is in the middle of China Town, which is a very nice spot to see things around the city. The train is really close and you can get a cab...

If you're after a cheap room in KL then this place isn't too bad. Most of the rooms have no windows, but they're pretty clean and have decent security. Chinatown itself is a bit of a dump, but the nearest metro line is a 5 minute walk so you're well place to see the rest of the city.

“When I went last november 4, they have a promo. I paid only 40 MYR a night. i chose the room closest to the terrace, overlooking the china town,. it gives a good view of the china town.”

“Saw lot of trouble makers around - so better mind your own business. Cabs in and around china town - a clear rip off. Cafetaria is expensive but good for a laid back morning as you watch china town unfolding its business. Hotel/room is good for solo back packers on a budget.”
