The Ruma Hotel is THE BEST hotel ever! Everything was flawless! I was already impressed the moment i stepped into their lobby, staff greeted us with a nice welcome drinks which my son love it so much !... Love the ambience of the hotel warm and luxurious, & especially to those staffs who are courteous n helpful throughout my short stay as well....The room amenities were complete with complimentary drinks especially it comes with beers & juices, the room was VERY clean, & most importantly the location is strategic & central to pavillion and klcc with walking distance to us who like to walk around
From the moment we pulled over for luggage drop off, we were blown away by the service rendered by the lovely staff at The RuMa. Excellent and warm service rendered by the staff, and the hotel is different from other hotels you would find in the City Centre, with it's warm and earthy, almost contemporary Balinese feel. Kinda feels you're in a beach resort but in the city, which is nice. The hotel is nicely tucked in a quieter area of the city, whilst still being really closeby to KLCC and Pavillion. The swimming pool is great and they weren't too many people. Water temperature was just nice and not too cold. Food is nice and in house guests get a 25% discount on dining, which I wasn't aware of until I was pleasantly surprised with the bill. One incident which really spoke to us, was when we left our room only for about 2 hours for our evening cocktails and canapes , only to come back to fully made up room! We stayed for only 2D1N and from my experience, you don't really get a Make Up Room Service for a one night stay. Extra kudos to The RuMa for this! Would definitely want to stay here again.…
We were pleasantly greeted by the attendants frequently. I also had a small talk with one of the staffs while in the lift. Breakfast was delicious, my favourite were the pastries (especially the sourdough bread) and the omellette. So far, we had the best experience of hospitality here. The hotel lives up to its name.
We are a couple travelling to KL to attend a wedding in another hotel nearby. We chose RuMa because my cousin highly recommended it. We arrived on late Friday evening, after bracing through the jam & rain... I was basically HANGRY. Carpark: clear sign, plenty of spaces to park. Lobby: Very atypical (in a positive way). Not the conventional hotel lobby, I love it the moment I entered the hotel. Check in: No issues, we were seated comfortably on the sofa. The receptionist came to us to assist us with the check-in. We took a bit of time filling in our info, most probably because we booked via Agoda. Suggest to book via their website next time. Room: We love the design so much!! The door was so cool, just scan your card & push! We stayed in the Deluxe King room, it was very comfortable for 2 pax. We love the lightings (love the option of dimming the room step by step) and the lamps were so pretty!! I love the bathroom too, there are 2 deep basins with a nice & simple dressing table in the middle, the shower area on ur right, with a deep bath tub. There are actually 4 different water outlet, an overhead rainforest shower, a hand held shower, another handheld shower attached to the bath tub, and the bath tub water outlet. Love the set up! The toilet is on the left of the bathroom. There's a Nespresso machine, complimentary snacks, and mini bar is also complimentary! Bed was very comfortable, we slept well on the 2 nights we were there. The TV channels are amazing as well! We are spoilt for choices! Internet is very good. No need to enter any passwords, no fuss! LOve it! ** there is no iron & ironing board in the room. However when I called to request for one, they sent it almost immediately, and once done, just leave them outside the door and the housekeeping will collect them. ATAS: As I mentioned earlier I was HANGRY upon arrival and it was still raining, so we decided to eat in the hotel. It was the best decision ever. I didn't expect it to be so good! It was EXCEPTIONAL! We ordered the ATAS 6-course Journey and it was DIVINE. My favourite was the Amara Tomato (The 3rd Journey), I didn't expect a plain looking tomato would taste that good! The only down side was the portion of the dessert was too small for my sweet tooth. Also the portion of the wine was small, as compared to the ones served at the Santai Bar. I highly recommend this restaurant! We had breakfast at ATAS the next morning and once again, we were very happy. We got a nice corner overlooking the quiet part of the street for our breakfast. Variety was standard but that was more than enough for me. I usually don't eat much for breakfast. However I have to mention the Nyonya Curry was VERY delicious, must try! Gym: The gym is not huge but enough equipments. 3 treadmills and 2 other for cycling and 1 for stepping. We had a good workout. Pool: Pool was nice, we didn't use though. The kids pool looks small but i see kids enjoying themselves nonetheless. SANTAI Bar: This bar next to the pool is a must visit! They have all day happy hour and the portion of their booze is so so generous. I had a glass of wine, hubby had a cocktail and we shared a dessert ~ coconut ice cream (it was sooooo good!!) In house guests get 20% off food and non alcoholic beverages. Staff: All of them are so pleasant & helpful!! The are everywhere but you can't see them. For eg, they will come and pick up your plates very prompty, but when you don't need their assistance, you can't see them. Kudos to all of the staff at ATAS, Santai Bar, Lobby & Housekeeping. It was raining the second night and we had only 1 umbrella. The staff at the lobby was very nice to offer us an extra umbrella. In conclusion, my husband and I enjoyed our weekend tremendously! The RuMa Hotel is our new favourite hotel in KL!! I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone! And we will definitely be back!! I will diligently check for promos on their website :)…
We arrived at 5pm, stranded at their function room for 3 hours to get a room. The staff offered us tea-time and unlimited drinks, by hearing at this you could imagine you are expecting to wait for more than 10mins. We went to grab the food, however the mee goreng tray is empty, cakes also left with a few pieces. It so sad to see this is from a 5 star hotel. The ladies who helping for check in had told us multiple time another 15mins, 10mins or 5mins. Finally we got the room at 7pm+, however the floor is still wet, 1 fork is missing. The bed is too low might as well do a platform bed. Next day, breakfast buffet at their Atas Restaurant, also waited for 15mins to get a table, and their food selection is not that fantastic (note that this is a 5 star hotel, people will have higher expectation to it). The taste of the food also so so. It is very hard to believe you have the rooms to accomodate the hotel guest but the Atas Restaurant unable to fit the guest, I saw people having their breakfast at the Function hall.…
Had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at The Ruma. Check in and check out was smooth, our room was spacious and comfortable, love the bathroom, the complimentary minibar and the nespresso machine. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious, and the in room dining was good too. Looking forward to coming back to stay again soon. Thank you Ruma for a wonderful staycation!
Rooms were immaculate and food was good. Comfortable stay with no issues. Really nice ambience- its moody and rich and luxurious. We got the urban escape package and i think it was well worth the price. We were lucky enough to get upgraded! The view from the room of the twin towers is the best Ive experienced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Loved it!
The best place to spend time with friends and family. I had a wonderful day with short time for staycation. Will definately come again to enjoy the peace and calmy environment. Love the swimming pool and the santai area. There are so many place that we can take instagrammable picture and it will remain in our memories.
Nice and clean environment, clean in the room, love the swimming pool and the bar area, very comfortable. Enjoy the time sitting there while my kids are swimming. I will definitely recommend people to here.
