Travellers' Choice
Following the major redevelopment of the original Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur, the new EQ has taken its place as a stylish addition to the city’s charm. The prime Golden Triangle location makes popular attractions like the famous Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the award-winning shopping destination with over 550 retail outlets and restaurants, just a short walk away. Whether it's shopping, sightseeing, restaurants or nightlife, everything is conveniently close-by. The hotel is also home to some of the city’s most highly-regarded restaurants and bars. Nipah, the all-day dining restaurant serves pan-Asian and Western cuisine. Kampachi is an award-winning restaurant that has been around for over four decades, offering the finest of Japanese cuisine. Étoile Bistro is a rebirth of the previous street-side bistro, now swankier than ever. Bottega Lounge serves Mediterranean bites with daily afternoon tea. Its signature rooftop Sky51 is the next landmark entertainment destination under the stars - Sabayon is a contemporary European fine dining restaurant with an award-winning wine list and Blue is the bespoke speakeasy rooftop bar and lounge with tantalizing cocktails and delicacies. The 5-star accredited hotel is also Green Building Index (GBI) Gold-certified and is among the most energy and resource-efficient buildings in the city.

We had a super stay over the Vesak day holidays after a long drive from Singapore. From check in to check out, everything went smoothly and service was excellent. 1. Room was large, very clean and well appointed. Excellent views and the complimentary mini bar was also much appreciated. Had a very good sleep both nights zzzz. 2. Breakfast is probably the best I ever had in a hotel. A mix of western and local dishes; the variety was huge. The nasi lemak and porridge were delicious. And the staff were there to top up coffee and clear the used dishes. Very efficient and courteous service. Kudos to the chef, kitchen and waiting staff! 3. Parking space is bright and secure. Further peace of mind as there are security guards around. And parking is complimentary. 4. Gorgeous pool 5. Walking distance to Pavilion and KLCC Would strongly recommend this hotel whether for leisure or business.

Hotel's Favourite
My 1st stay after MCO 2020 in March. This time taking the 1 day off , celebrating our 24th Anniversary with my loved one. Stayed for 1 night at EQ Hotel KL, and it was arranged by the team tremendously. They had the room decorated, with swan love and petals of roses on bed, fruit basket with a slice of cake. The room was spacious and the Reservation staff assisted us to the room and explained further on the features of the room. The mini bar was Complimentary ! Due to MCO, our package inclusive of breakfast at Nipah Restaurant and dinner in the room. The food served during our dinner, was delicious, The breakfast spread was nice, even though due to MCO, all are based on SOP. We also manage to have our tea at L2 Restaurant , which we had 1 club sandwich and chicken burger. Delicious! Our room faces the KLCC and the view was wonderful! We expect more lights from KLCC but not that what we expected , but still its lovely view. We manage to went up to Sky51 - and the view was spectacular. Great stay !

This has to be the best weekend getaway in KL City, and most probably the best beds you’ll sleep on. Always a pleasant experience every time, fantastic staff from front door to Main reception to restaurants, whether your staying at the hotel or going for a night out, do yourself a favour and try Etoile Bistro on ground floor below reception (friendly staff will show the way) for the evening try Sky 51 and Blue at EQ We booked into the Sanctum Spa prior to booking out which topped off the weekend Can’t fault EQ and the effort they’ve put in to make this the number 1 hotel in KL
