The travellers Palm lodge ticks all the boxes: it's increadable value for money, ideally located (as central as you can get, yet in a quiet location), clean and the service is good. The host is very attentive, she is more than willing to make you feel at home and to give you advice on where to go and things to...

Brillaint location, easy access to local food, shopping malls and public transport. Suzy is a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms very clean. Actually stayed here again when passing through KL.

It feels like a home more than a hostel. You feel no stranger at all and the rooms are very clean with nice smell. The owner is a lovely lady and really helpful. The location is prefect and so close to Jalan Alor where you can find a variety of Chinese food. The place is also close to the monorail...

Great location, walking distance to lots of food, shopping, public transport options. Had a private twin room, which was fine and clean but smelt musty and damp. The outside sitting area is nice. I preferred this hostel to another I stayed in KL as this was smaller and quieter. Suzy is a friendly, helpful but unobtrusive host. Would choose again...

Any backpacker who want a calm get-away place in central KL should stay here. Close to many nice restaurants and dance places and shopping malls. Suzy (and her daughter) are very friendly and helpful and caring. I enjoyed breakfast every morning in the beautiful garden outside the hostel. The hostel was quiet and tidy and I would love to come...

Really enjoyed our stay here! Me and a friend shared a private twin room. The only complaint was that the pipes on our ceiling were leaking so our room (and everything we owned) overwhelming smelt like damp. Suzy was a great host. Really helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend

Owners very accommodating; first time I stayed, I arrived from KLIA at about 1am and Suzie still showed me around the hostel. Close to the bars of Changkat Bukit Bintang, but just off it and then down a little street, so it's quite peaceful even at night. Suzie helpful with directions and tips. Rooms are fine. Good night's sleep each...

I switched from another hostel as they no longer had room and I wish I was here the whole time. I stayed a second time later in my travels. It's very clean and close to lots of amenities. It's down a quiet street and the owner is very relaxed and friendly. Full of useful information and tips about what to...

I stayed one night in a dorm. The hostel was clean and the location is good for bars and shopping, but I didn't find it particularly welcoming. Suzy was not there when I arrived and her staff spoke not well English. There is no common room inside the house to meet other travellers. In the morning, they forgot to put...

“I've stayed in 3 rooms: The mattresses are good quality, the dorm bunks are comfy and there is a wee balcony too. Small but perfectly formed. 'Tranquility' room is a double and a single bed that also backs onto the balcony. Nice room! The family room 'dreams' has 3 bed options, single bunks and a double bed. The rooms are small but clean and have high ceilings which is nice!”
