The main reason we booked this hotel was because it was the only one in Nagasaki (and I contacted a lot) that I could get to confirm that we could get connecting rooms – one single room (which had one double bed) and one twin room (which had two double beds). Perfect for our family of five, and apparently they...

Situated in a great area for shopping and dining, everything is walking distance, trolley's, buses, grocery and plenty of places to eat. Hotel is nice and rooms are a good size for Japan, if you stay on the 10th floor they are much bigger. Rooms are a bit outdated and in need of upgrade, especially the carpets but the rooms...

The location is very convenient. It is a short walk to the covered shopping streets and Chinatown. The room is standard size but considered big in Japan. The hotel is a bit old but kept well and clean, I think it used to be Holiday Inn, and new split-type air-conditioner is fitted. Free in-room...

This is an odd hotel, with neither facade nor back on the street. You enter through a lane-way in the front and, in the back, the access is through the bar onto a wide shopping lane. It is convenient as there are shops nearby, grocery stores, tram stops and it is an easy walk to almost everywhere. However, the bar...

Centrally-located. Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. What else? Stayed there 3 nights, winter, in a standard room. It was nicely-sized for two guests. View wasn't astonishing, but at least we weren't facing a brick wall. Very near the Shianbashi bar/restaurant district, and a mere 4 tram stops away from the train station. Only drawback: the breakfast, though plentiful, takes place...

Centrally located and though quite international looking at both guests and the hotel bar, very Japanese in the sense of room size and cleanliness. Meaning? Rooms are small and very clean. What is not so nice about the Victoria Inn (despite the fact that somebody had smoked in our non-smoking room...) is that the rooms are old and need refurbishing....

Stayed here in a double room for 3 nights in early October, choosing this hotel based on its price and location to the bar/restaurant area (Shianbashi). The entrance to the hotel isn't the easiest to find, as it is down a small lane off the main street, so you have to look out for the small blue sign showing the...

We stayed here in september at the start of Autumn. The lobby is nice and stylish but the room we stayed in was old and dated - and not in a classy way. The furniture was very worn and nothing like the pictures they show. It looked like cheap op-shop rip-offs. We had also paid for a Queen Bed room...

Had a four night stay at this hotel, location was the best, walk out the door and you are basically in the main shopping street with the trams going past every couple of minutes. Our twin room was a decent size and beds were comfortable, staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with so many choices, it was so...

I stayed here from 21-Aug to 24-Aug, with my husband and 1 year old child. We stayed in a room with a double bed (free for the child) and breakfast was included in our plan. Pros 1. Hotel was 3-5 minutes walk from Chinatown, Daiei supermarket, Log Kit sasebo burger, Starbucks, Mr Donuts etc. No lack of food outlets. 2....

“The first room I checked into (#714) was noisy due to an A/C unit outside. Even with the window closed it would have affected a good night's sleep. I requested a change (which was promptly and pleasantly done to room #711). As such try and avoid room numbers ending in ~13/14/15 as they too will all be subject to the A/C's noise.”
