I stayed here for three weeks and it was overall pleasant. Theres a large common room incl kitchen area, the sanitary amenities are all new and well taken care of, the staff is nice and the price is unbeatable. The only thing I was missing was a nice lively space for having some nice quality time alone once in a...

Great location for those using JR Pass and Subway one day pass. There are 3 stations nearby the hotel; JR station (one station away from KIX Airport) and 2 subway line. I'm staying at single room, Japanese style. The size was small like any other standard Japanese room. They provide TV and air conditioner inside the room. The hotel was...

The hostel was in a very good position in Osaka and not far from the subway station. The private rooms were great. although the beds on the floor were a little bit hard. The staff were very friendly and the hostel had a great atmosphere.

It was very cheap, only 1700 for one night. The room did not have AC but it came with a foot warmer, and it wasn't that cold even though outside was easily 2 or 3 degrees at night. The room is small, with the futon taking up half the place, but it's still more than enough space, especially since I...

Our bedroom was basically a box with two futons (not thick) so you get what you pay for. Otherwise friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere. Very cool common room and great showers! Clean, decent location, it's fine for a couple of nights.

I chose Hotel Tokyo because it offered a traditional Japanese room. The hotel is more of a backpackers hostel which is divided into many small rooms. The rooms are clean, the showers and toilets were also clean. Shampoo and soap is provided. The decor is a little tired and rough round the edges, but quant. The location is very good,...

Very pricey for Osaka, the location is also pretty good. The hostel itself doesent really seem social and the hallways reminded me off my last stay in a hospital in eastern europe. Staff is friendly and the rooms are super if you want some time with yourself.

¥1 700/night for a single room is hard to beat. You're close to JR Shin-Imamiya station which is good for taking the Osaka loop line or making a day trip to Nara. The subway is even closer. Osaka can also be a good base for Kansai exploration. Staff is very friendly. I arrived earlier than check-in time and wanted to...

Stayed here for 6 nights in September. I made this a base for a week for my visit to Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima apart from seeing Osaka. It offers single Tatami mat room for JPY 1700 (with a fan). Location is great. Midosuji on the subway and Shin-Imamiya (JR Line) stations are nearby. You can catch a Nara Train from here....
