I stayed at raizan south in early Feb 2016, we can find this hotel about 3 minutes walk from shin-imamiya sta (JR Loop), the facility was complete, bathroom separate with room, value for money. and the bed so comfortable (3bed in 1 room), around hotel close to Lawson and near other tourist destination (map available at receptionist), the wifi so...

I like Raizan because the price is very good. Rooms are clean, and you can choose between japanese or european style. There is also a female floor for women only. Staff are always friendly. Location is alright with metro and train stops very close by. They have a bath. Free coffee in the lobby. And free DVDs if you want...

Very close to Dobutsuen Mae subway station exit 2 - just a five minute walk. The staff are helpful and speak English and are knowlegable about the surrounding area. The Japanese style rooms are very clean and complete with small fridge and heating and air-conditioner.

Good: -Excellent value for money at Y2200/night -Staff spoke good English and were knowledgeable about tourist attractions and activities in Kansai. -Nice communal bath, with long opening hours. -Located near train stations, restaurants and convenience stores. Bad: -Problems with the hot water in the 24hr showers. Sometimes it took a long time to get hot and then would go cold...

Terrible value for money, the shared bathroom is barely big enough to move in and had punk (or something worse) stained into the walls. The bed was lumpy, staff unfriendly and shower a good distance (down 3 floors) away. To top it off its not really cheap! Avoid if possible.

Staying at this hotel for a few times and it is a nice budget place to stay. Very friendly reception staffs. Just a few minutes walk from the subway station with lots for convenient shops and restaurants around. Shinsekai and Tennoji are just a few minutes walk from hotel.

I stayed here as a solo traveller, originally booked for 3 nights but I hated it so much that during my first night I stayed up late just looking for somewhere else to stay! This place is dirty, stinks, is in a dodgy area and is really old. I felt very unsafe staying here. I was happy to leave!! I...

I'm so glad I stayed here on my first night in Japan. The reception was friendly. I liked the free yakutas, towels and coffee. The shared sento was a nice new experience for me. The room was the size of a cell, but had a TV, air conditioning and wifi plus a dimmer switch on the light. The neighborhood is...

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It was a central location for us to travel to other destinations like Kyoto, Himeji and Nara. We found the hostel clean but run down. The taps in the common restrooms were worn out and need to replaced. The shower and the common cooking facility were very good. The only issue was...
