Excellent location next to food heaven in Osaka. Very clean and quiet despite being near Dotombori. The staff are so polite and helpful, really made to feel welcome. Very good English spoken. A must stay ryokan in Osaka. Great breakfast, Carl Shakespeare

This was the second visit to Kaneyoshi and it's still great. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, a fantastic restaurant just across the canal (keep an eye out for a large yellow lantern and a table by the water, it's quite small and easy to miss). Everything that Dotonbori offers is on your doorstep.

Clean, traditional style rooms in a great location at a great price. What more could you ask for? There is a common bath for guests to use that is divided by gender so men and women bathe separately. The location is right in the heart of Dotonbori so you're close to tons of great restaurants, host/hostess clubs, karaoke bars and...

This hotel has Japanese style rooms when you slipping on a floor and enjoying a hot public bath on the upper floor which is separate for men and women. But what is not expected that you actually have a bathroom with shower in your room for your own convenience, balcony that looks like a small separate room with paper doors...

Kaneyoshi is sandwiched between a host of restaurants and tiny grocers, so even your cab driver won't find it easily on their GPS system. Make sure to stick a photo of the property's sign on your mobile device, it'll help. The room is decorated in traditional style and you'll sleep on traditional futon that are stored along one wall. Some...

It was our first staying in a Ryokan and I was expecting a traditional Ryokan outfit. However, I would say this is a small hotel and they renovated the room to be a Ryokan setting. Having said that, this property is conveniently located in Osaka town (within 5 mins walking distance to the train station) and also a short walk...

It's a small Ryokan which is located at stones throw away from Dotonburi. The ryokan is clean, comfortable and just nice. Since it's old do not expect much fancy stuff, but it is quite comfortable. There is an onsen on top of the building and it's quite relaxing to go there for a hot bath. It's walkable from the train...

A dated but clean place situated in a quiet corner of a bustling shopping place. Price is very good compared to a typical ryokan, good for someone looking to experience a ryokan stay, and has a common bathing area. Staff is very prompt at cleaning up every day.

Our family just stayed there for 2 nights. This ryokan has the basic for your needs. My kid has fond memories in the tatami beds and the Japanese bath. Location is perfect to all the attractions. Staff were friendly.
