Well it's cheap, and there ends my only bit of positive feedback. It's a seedy hotel which stinks of cigarette smoke regardless of whether you are on a non smoking room or not. When we went into our first room it was badly stained and absolutely stank. Got moved to a non-smoking room and still stank but not as bad.... More

We stayed here twice. The first time we were given a very small room. The second time it was larger and more reasonable. The staff was very accommodating and did everything possible to make us comfortable. Both rooms, however needed a good cleaning. Even the walls were dirty.

There is much to say about this hotel. I had a good experience in all, but there are quirky things you need to be aware of to save time and frustration. The hotel is no longer named Joytel. Instead, it is now called: Osker Dreams. This could be confusing. When I was attempting to book during cherry blossom season I... More

The hotel is situated in suminoekoen, away from city noise, away from crowded people. We stayed for 1 night. The room is clean and cozy, though. You can easily find the hotel but the access/entrance is a bit of a challenge.

I booked through japanican.com, and received helpful reminder emails a few days leading up to the trip, as well as directions on how to get to the hotel from Kansai airport. We arrived in the evening, but the long line to check passports and visas at the airport created a delay and we were told when we tried to buy... More

Hotel is just above Suminoeken subway train station the terminal of Yotsubashi Line(blue), and tram going to cosmosquare station. Very convenient. You're always sure of a seat/s but it takes about a 20 or 30min ride if yo're going to Namba and Universal Studio on the other side by tram. There is a passage from train station to hotel buliding(2nd... More

Even though the hotel is right next to the subway station, we still took 15 minutes to find the hotel because the signage was unclear and there were no elevators from the subway station to the ground floor. Travelers please make sure that you go to the correct Exit, or you have to walk extra stairs to use the bridge... More

A hotel not so far from the city centre, with excellent price-quality balance. It is neither a fancy place nor with all the comfort, but everything worked and the members of staff were generally friendly.

location is superb. there's a lot of foods around, and they have don quixote shop just next door (it's supermarket selling everything which opens 24 hours a day). if that's not enough, they also have mcds and matsuya for midnight cravings. the room is quite huge for japanese standard, and they provide complete toiletries. next time you come to Osaka,... There is not much to do in the neighborhood of the hotel but it is located just a few footsteps from the Suminoekoen station of the Yotsubashi subway line, with direct connections to Namba and Umeda stations. My room was quite small, with barely enough space for opening one piece of luggage, as usual for Japanese business hotel. Wifi is... More
