Imazato Guest House is a great hostel! The staff is so helpful and friendly, the hostel is clean, the breakfast is great, the beds are very comfortable and have curtains that gives you some privacy and the fact that is a small hostel makes you feel like you are part of a small community, with a common area for the...

Yuko, the amazing owner of this quaint guesthouse, will take great care of you! The guesthouse used to be her grandmothers home and she has renovated it into a beautiful haven for female travelers. The hostel provides everything you can think of. Inside of your private bunk you have electric outlets for charging your devices, your own shelves and a...

I traveled to Japan for a few days this summer and stayed in Imazato Guesthouse. I have to say that this is one the of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in. Each bed had a small mirror, electric plug and a small lamp. I loved how the guesthouse was decorated and that every bed had a curtain to give...

Thank you for your choice to stay at our guesthouse. We were so glad that you had such a fun time here. You sure were lucky about the timing since one of the best hanabi event was going on the day you got here and wearing yukata with other girls were so much fun. Thank you so much for your...

This is my second visit since their opening 2 years ago. Since then, a lot has changed - both for the better and worse. First off, there are now more nice-to-haves inside the bunk bed: electric plug, a small mirror, a small lamp, and a small rack for your phone or watch. There are nice improvements since my last visit,...

I stayed at Imazato for two nights to break up my trip from Kagoshima to Tokyo. It's a great little place, and everyone who stayed there was friendly and sociable which is a big bonus for solo travellers. On my first night in the city Yuu-san suggested we have okonomiyaki for dinner, so I had the chance to eat with...

The Imazato Guest House is a well-priced, friendly little hostel for females only. Its bare wood base is heavily decorated with Ikea pieces, which makes the place quite cheery. The futons on the bunks are comfortable enough, and there are little privacy curtains to go around each bed, which is a nice touch. There's also lockers available. A homemade [non-Western]...
