Had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse CaminoRo. The place is so clean and comfortable. Everything is thoughtfully designed for their guests' comfort and convenience. The hosts took the time to explain the transport system in Osaka, recommend good places for food, and was always willing to address whatever queries I had. Thank you very much! :)

It was a great stay. The two who run the place are very friendly and helpful. I forgot something at my previous stay and they helped me out on the phone as English wasn't really possible. We had a modern Japanese private room which was really nice. The bathroom and toilets were really clean. If you're going to Osaka and...

CaminoR o Guesthouse is a nice place with two dormitories and 2 private rooms. My friend and I stayed in Modern Japanese Style private room. Room was not big, but big enough. There was no window in the room, which is not what you really wish. There're a lot of small notices all around the house. In the kitchen alone...

The location is great, not far from subway, maybe 4-5 minutes walking. The neighborhood is fabulous, you can get food and go shopping along the way. It's kind of market but I don't remember its name. (If you guys love 2nd hand brand name bags, there is a shop alond the street.) But the market opens quite late and closes...

CaminoRo is a lovely guesthouse. We stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room. The small room was clean and comfortable, like the rest of the guesthouse. CaminoRo is by Mikuni station, three rail stops from the major interchanges at Umeda station (10-15 minutes). There is no night life to speak of by the guesthouse, but there is plenty of tasty food...

I've stayed here twice and it would be my first choice if I'm ever in Osaka again. The location is handy for northern attractions (the ethnology museum, for example) but the good subway system means you're not a long journey from anything. The area's great for people who want to stay in an everyday, "normal" neighbourhood and get a peaceful...

I love this place because it is quiet and the owners are really show hospitality. They provide places where things that I want and how I could save cost. What impress me most is even when I left early, the owner, Koji-san, took effort to email me and express some regret for not sending me off to my next backpacker...

My first hostel experience visiting Japan, the place is located inside a covered shopping street. Relaxed atmosphere and clean. However, there are lots stairs to climb in this hostel, if you have a heavy luggage, this can be a challenge. Otherwise it's good.

I really wanted to like this hostel but the amount of notes on everything, on literally every item made it impossible to relax without feeling like you're doing something wrong. Notes specify how much water you are allowed to boil, where exactly to place your belongings in the room, light switches and door handles are all labelled in case you...

I stayed here with a friend for a few nights earlier in August. The place was very easy to find, it's conventionally located around stations with only a few minutes walk away from either the Hankyu or the metro stations. The owners of the hostel were really accommodating and warm, making our stay an even more pleasant experience. I found...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
CaminoRo is a small, family-run guesthouse. Unlike big, chain hostels in touristy districts, we cannot provide famous night-life or popular shopping malls within walking distance. But staying with us, you will be able to experience two different sides of the city, because we are located in a traditional roofed shopping street, where is not touristy, and also visiting major spots is easy as public transport is convenient. Make your trip unique through staying in our characteristic shopping street that is very authentic and energetic with real Osaka people! ... more   less
