This hotel is very close to both the subway and the Shin-Imamiya train station (on the Osaka loop line and Nankai line), and is very easy to find. Hotel itself is very basic (typical Japanese style room with mattress on the floor) but very good value for Japan at around £26 for a double room per night. The rooms have...

For a simple Japanese style single room (mattress on the floor) for only about 20 USD, you cant complain. Shared showers on the bottom floor and shared bathroom, free towel as well. Right near a train station on the Osaka loop puts it in a very convenient position. Only complaint would be that the walls are really thin and I...

Just like all hotels/guest houses around, this place was near subway station, JR station, Shinsekai, and the zoo. It's cheap, but to my surprise I had TV, fridge, slippers, towel, and bathroom provided in my room. I didn't remember getting those facilities with a price as cheap as that before. The shower rooms were on the first floor. The staff...

Good price for a hotel near a train station and subway station. Shared toilets and common japanese bath facilities. Many backpackers and budget travellers here. They even provided 8 free bicycles on a first-come-first-serve basis, which we used on our last day. Good food nearby.

When in Osaka I normally stay in America Mura, but everywhere was full so the lady at tourist information suggested a hotel in the Shinsekai area, south of Namba. The hotel was just 2 minutes' walk from Dobutsuen-Mae subway station and cheaper than many hostel dorms I've stayed in. The room was clean and importantly quiet. The lobby has a...

Stayed here a few night during September and it was a good place to sleep. All I wanted was a room for my stuff and a place to sleep. Got all that with relatively cheap price. The best thing was the public bath room. Felt good to wash up tired legs and sweaty back there. The public kitchen was also...
