City Centre
No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered shopping arcades along Kawaramachi and Shijo Street bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home goods offerings. When it grows dark, the City Center is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and clubs. A trendy culinary scene and an abundance of local watering holes give the Center its youthful vibrancy. In contrast, the quieter areas of the City Center seem a world away, shielded from noise by the foliage of the public gardens and zen spaces surrounding the area's shrines, castles, and the Imperial Palace. These ancient and sacred spots are seamlessly folded into the scenery, providing a respite from the energy of the city, but close enough to put you directly back onto the pulse of the city when you're ready.

Friendly service and good location. Room is small and bathroom is smaller. The slippers provided are reused by guests and are not fresh like other hotels. They do not provide a laundry to guests. Not good value for money.

We only stayed here one night after sightseeing in Kyoto. The hotel itself was busy but surprisingly quiet. The rooms are clean and the staff was friendly. I was able to communicate with the front desk easily which was nice.

This hotel is quite well located but the rooms are nothing exceptional, small. The breakfast is only a "Japanese" one served in the Chinese restaurant next to the lobby and frankly speaking this is not exceptional at all. Otherwise, it is clean and quiet.

Dear.Riva C Thank you very much for e-mail us. We are sorry that we have no shuttle bus. It is best way to take Kyoto city subway(Karasuma Line) from JR Kyoto Station. It takes 6 minutes to Karasuma Oike subway station. North Gate Exit 4-1, 1 minute on foot. Thank you.
