For the first visit to Japan, we spent all 4 nights at this hotel. It all because of the good price. It's very small, ok clean, and good staff service. To my surprise, the sought of bad location turned to be a positive point. As we almost end every night along tha Gamo River, the Keihan railway can take you... More

Clean hotel. Great location. Great customer service(They understand and speak English well enough). What you get for the price is a bargain in my opinion. Kio mizu dera temple a sight to behold, is within the walking distance. There is a convenient store right across the street as well (Family Mart) for a late night snack :))

Rooms are very clean here. I stayed here on 2 different occasions for my trip. Both times rooms were clean and staff are very friendly. 15 mins max walk to the local JR station (Inari) from there it's just 2 stops to Kyoto station( Main). Then you can get anywhere

This was a great find for our business trip but it should be great for travelers too. Within walking distance to fushimi inari shrine and with excellent transit options all around Kyoto. Breakfast available in 2 ways- a continental style buffet or a cafe style. Sushi restaurant, bakeries and convenient stores nearby!!

Staying in Southern Kyoto

Neighbourhood Profile
Southern Kyoto
Southern Kyoto has a reserved air. Though the Fushimi Inari Shrine is one of Kyoto's major tourist attractions, the surrounding nature, parks, gardens, temples, and shrines provide less-visited spaces for strolling and reflection. The Fushimi Inari Shrine itself is made up of 32,000 sub-shrines, and the mountain they are dotted across beckons hikers, picnickers, and lovers of the outdoors. Many of the mountain's off-set paths aren't frequented by tourists, and the mountain's serenity can be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. Southern Kyoto is the place to enjoy being outside, and to pay your respects to the ancient architecture and gods of the land that are celebrated here.
