Nice hotel! Stayed for one night and was pleasantly surprised by accommodations. Checked in online and room was available by 10am. Loved that we were able to settle in before heading out for the day! Staff was pleasant and room amenities were complete. Loved our stay and good loacation!

A really beautiful contemporary hotel in Kyoto with modern style Japanese furnished rooms. We stayed for 2 nights only, so had limited time for sightseeing. The staff were absolutely fantastic and arranged an itinerary of places to visit, provided maps with tips on when to walk and when to catch a taxi between sights. A 5 min or so taxi...

The gardens, on-sen, swimming pools, changing room are fabulously designed. The rooms view open up to their legendary garden. The food was definitely above hotel standard, both the buffet and the a la carte. Highly recommended for relaxation time off.

The hotel is located in center of Kyoto. It has a bus top in front of the hotel and subway staion is at just a few blocks, very much walking distance altough we mostly took a cab try not to lost in town;). The hotel is clean ( I think it's pretty new. ) and loved bath and toilet were...

Excellent except for bar service. Bartenders were aloof, didn't speak and drinks were extremely WEAK! Nuts , chips, etc were not offered, had to be asked for. Wonderful ambiance, however. Invitation from hotel manager to join them for cocktails resulted in a glass of inexpensive champagne and three bite sizes snacks! No one else was there.

The hotel location was perfect. It was very peaceful and easy to access trains. The food was fabulous and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to walk to the Gojozaka slope and enjoyed the shopping of unique items there.

We stayed here on our trip to Kyoto and it delivered - the hotel staff was incredibly friendly, concierge was helpful with dinner reservations, the hotel rooms were well-appointed, the spa (try the acupressure) was really good - no complaints whatsoever!!

Loved our stay here. The hotel foyer is stunning with all the intricate woodwork and traditional Japanese garden. The room was beautiful and very large for Japan. The bathroom is large and practical with a very large shower, vanity and bath. Our friends had an incredible view from the room over looking a garden area which was stunning, unfortunately we...

We were back and forth when it came to where to stay in Kyoto, and I have to say that we made an excellent choice as this property exceeded our expectations! Being from the US, I would never describe most Hyatt Regency's as 5-star, but this one, is on a different level and can't be compared to any in the...

Nice property, close in to central Kyoto and tourist attractions. Three-person suite was roomy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, many English speaking. Buffet breakfast was included and was excellent. The only downsides were dining room and Spa were both very pricey.
