Great access to train, bus and restaurants! Staff went out of their way to resolve a minor issue, and were very friendly overall. Room was comfortable, adequate, and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean basic hotel, good service, breakfast ok, most important for us the location next to the railway & bus station, so sightseeing was convenient. Shops,supermarkets,restaurants,loads of those nearby as mall Isetan!

I guess the chance is below 50% as the hotel is popular for tourists and business men. You could ask this to the front or perhaps you can stay at other nice hotels near the Kyoto station. I would recommend New Miyako Hotel... More

I don't think so, but the station is across the street and it'd be an easy visit without much hassle or planning. My room was on 2nd floor. You may be able to see its approach from a higher floor...

Take the Central Exit, same exit that leads to the Kyoto Tower. :)
