Paid under USD$100 per night which is a bargain. Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Kitano and from the awesome Kobe beef restaurants Wakkoqu and Ishida...about a ten minute walk to both. I also WALKED to Shin-Kobe Station from the hotel in about 20 minutes...an easy walk. Service was great but location and value the key takeaways,. Room...

This hotel was really perfect, the staff was extremely helpful, the room was big clean and well decorated. We traveled with a baby and they were kind enough to add a bed without adding a charge. The breakfast is really HUGE and everything they serve is extremely good with a lot of diversity: pastries, Japanese traditional, cakes... You have to...

Good place to stay, a couple of good small restaurants and cafes are close by. Shin-Kobe station and downtown are within easy walking-distance. You won't remember much about this hotel but maybe the super friendly staff.

The hotel Piena Kobe is well situated for the main attractions and public transport. It is well decorated and although the rooms are small, they are very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is good but a bit expensive unless you have an enormous appetite. The foyer houses an excellent bakery/coffee shop. My only complaint was the shoddy service we received...

Great Kobe location, very nice room, good breakfast, and all at a reasonable rate. The hotel is a short walk up the road from Sannomiya Station, a little farther downhill from Shin Kobe station, and just off the edge of the Kitano neighborhood. Our room was nice size with twin beds, a sofa, table, and 2 chairs. The bathroom had...

Thank you for staying with us, and giving us a review of it. It will definitely help us a lot to improve our service. Though we won the first place for breakfast in Japan on Tripadvisor, it may not be the best for all guest we have. However, getting the first prize isn't our goal, and we will try to...

We stayed here for 6 nights in March due to exceptional reviews on this site. Rooms were smallish and not very modern, but clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which we ate once) was excellent. But, if your Japanese is not very good, staying here may be really difficult. Again the staff is very helpful, but...

Thank you for staying in our hotel for that long, and sending us a review of it which is a great help for us. We regret that you had inconvenient moments with language here, though. We can not say that our english skill is perfect now, but we're trying to improve it by hiring new members with English fluency, or...

The win for our stay here was the restaurant. We began our stay on New Years and the only dinner option was a special menu for a few 100s dollars, so we tried it and it was really great. The only problem with the meal was that as the courses increased in flavor and creativity building up to entree of...

Thank you for staying with us, and also giving us a review of your stay. We're just so pleased to hear you enjoyed our dinner. We change the menu by season which provides us local fresh food, so you can taste totally different flavors next time. Our breakfast is also an absolute recommendation for you if you haven't tried. The best part about the hotel was honestly the food. I have never had a better meal than the one that I had at the restaurant, but if you're looking for a beautiful room with a comfortable bed nice bathroom, you will be sorely disappointed. The staff was wonderful, and they were very kind, but there was a bit of...

We stayed 4 nights, four of us in a comfortable suite. The high point was the fabulous breakfast buffet, with a lot of Mediterrenean-style dishes. We all kept hitting the boulliabase - best I've ever had! Even for breakfast.....

Room is fine...no English television programs...and interesting sign in lift about breakfast...due to small breakfast space you are asked to be prepared to wait 60 minutes before and after. We found out what that meant when we went and found a 40 minute wait...we think, but are not sure, that you can reserve a breakfast table ahead of time.....
