The hostel was clean, affordable and within walking distance of shopping area, restaurants and tourist attractions. Our rooms were spotless and the shower had modern and environmentally friendly fittings that conserved water.

Cheap. The room was very spacy. There were one sofa, one bed, table and a stool. On the first floor there is a restaurant, but i didn't eat there. Clean. Staff speaks english, but only a little. The location is the best: near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, tram station is in front of the entrance. There are many supermarkets around...

In the dorms you have your own private area, very much like your own room. Location is excellent, next to the peace park and museum- the most essential thing in Hiroshima. Breakfast is nice - includes eggs and bacon. Great showers etc. Not the largest communal space so not necessarily the best for meeting new people (even though I did),...

A fairly new hotel, with great (and free) Internet access. Fairly standard room facilities, easy check-in with friendly and helpful staff. Close to the the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. Keep your room key-card when you leave, as it will give you a discount on your next stay.

This hostel is very well located. 10 minutes walk to the peace park and about 20 minutes to the castle. They don't have a checkout (great!) and the staff helped us immensely by explaining how to buy baseball tickets for in Tokyo (awesome!). Great value! Tip: if you're up for good coffee and a great sandwich breakfast, exit the hostel...

We booked a private dorm here and stayed 3 nights. Having been used to staying in pokey little rooms throughout our whole trip to Japan, we couldn't believe the size of this one - it was huge! Nice, big bathroom too and the whole room was spotlessly clean. All the staff we encountered were friendly, polite, helpful and spoke good...

Location is good for visiting the peace park (which is where most of hiroshima's sights are located). The room size are somewhat in-between a small hotel room and a big business hotel room. Friendly staff at reception. Price is above average.

Getting there was very easy, it is right outside the tram (streetcar) station. Getting anywhere is therefore also very easy. The office and entrance is typically student hostel but the rooms are more like a modest hotel. I have a single room on the 6th floor. The sheets were very clean and bathroom is very nice with the hitech toilet...

Good located- 5 mins by walk from the city center and the peace park and museum, 20 mins by tram from the main bus/train station. The place is clean and good mantained with hot water and clean and comfy beds (I stayed in a dorm). The staff at the reseption is very nice, smart and helpful. They can easily explain...

It was definetely not the best hostel I've been to, but for Japanese standards it was one of the cheapest. It's situated on a 20 min. walking distance of the main attractions of Hiroshima but it's doable walking to it. Also there is a tram stop nearby for in case you arrive with the train, so easily reachable from the...

“They allow smoking in the stairwell between the 5th and 6th floor, so you may get the smell on the 6th floor. If that happens, keep the door to the roof landing open and you will be OK.”
