Stayed 3 nights in a junior suite whilst attending an industry conference in Sapporo. 3 blocks south of JR station by walking underground or street level. 3 blocks north of Odori Park which currently hosting Lilac festival with ramen, wine & international food fest. Room was large by Japanese standards. Only 2 peeves were toilet is not attached to the...

Very convenient location as it is located only 5 minutes away from JR station. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful. They offer parking overnight at a discount. Service at the parking is awesome. This is more like a business / conference hotel with quite a number of restaurants inside the hotel at your own choice. Though, there are so...

I stayed for a night at Sapporo Grand Hotel in mid-May 2017. The hotel is conveniently located, and its historical facade would appeal to those looking for a vintage-styled stay. Near the old Hokkaido Government building, there were many sakura trees in bloom during our stay, and it was a pretty sight from our room window. Service here is excellent,...

The rooms are relatively big, the breakfast is very good with a variety of Japanese and Western items, and the location is excellent - just a few blocks from Odori Park and a few blocks from the railway station. .

Love this hotel, very close to the underground walk to sapporo train station, it is very useful in the winter time. The room is clean, small japan size room but we could get the extra bed in. Convenient to local foods and crowds, perfect location for holiday.

The room was large and well equipped, suitable also for longer stays. Breakfast buffet was very good, with a large assortiment of both japanese and western items. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Wifi worked well enough for several hours of videoconferencing.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days for my husband's birthday. The hotel has great location with direct access to underground walking lane and subway. Very friendly staff who can speak good English. Hotel's own Japanese restaurant is great with its food and service! A big old room but well maintained. Definitely a memorable stay!

I was expecting a small room like many mid range hotels in Japan. But the hotel here has a room big enough for 2. It was also very clean and quiet. Stayed for 3 nights on the tenth floor. Location was superb. Underground walkway brings you to many other places of interest and of course shopping. A Lawson convenient store...

The Sapporo Grand is an easy walk from the train station, and is close to the lovely Odori park. We stayed in a Superior Room one night, and a Deluxe Room the next. The Superior Room very much outshines the Deluxe. The Deluxe was still worth the price we paid, but seeing all of the slight downgrades after being in...

A little suggestion for building choosing. The hotel has three buildings, east building, main building and annex building, respectively. I tried both east building and annex building, their facilities are different. I recommend choosing east building, because it has new and big rooms. Staff in hotel are very helpful and location is good.
