The best, most wonderful thing about this hotel is the location. It sits right on XiHu and you get to enjoy the view any time of the day in peace, away from the crowds. The hotel has good security in keeping out non-guests. It's also a walking distance to a bunch of scenic spots. The hotel itself is nice, but...

The hotel comprises a set of stand-alone villas, set in a beautiful garden. I was there for a conference, so didn't leave the property. Food & beverage was excellent; especially the lunch buffet with fresh shellfish. During a break in the conference, we enjoyed the boat ride around the lake. Rooms were standard 5-star Chinese, with good amenities. One problem...

A colleague recommended that I try this hotel on my business trip, as he really enjoyed staying there for a weekend with his wife. He really liked the scenery, the environment and atmosphere. I agree with my colleague that this is a very pretty and lovely hotel, more like a resort, with villas located throughout a large piece of private...

The location of the hotel is great, directly on the lakefront, and in walking distance to not only LeiFeng Pagoda, but also to the SuDi walkway and the old city. Consider riding a private boat on the lake, beautiful in any weather and season. The service was great but much more Chinese than English-oriented. The restaurants serve great food, especially...

Nice hotel with their own garden near lake West. It was so breezeful and peaceful to walk around the garden over looking the West Lake. Quiet surrounding around the hotel. Feel safe as they have many security guards around. Breakfast was good with many choices and variety. The best breakfast buffet I ever had so far in China.....quality of food...

This hotel is situated off West Lake and near the famed Leifeng Pagoda. The rooms are good sized and beds comfortable. The walks around the grounds are very relaxing. You do have to mind the mosquitoes. The buffet breakfast is a bargain and included in the room price. Because the hotel consists of individual villas, it provides a nice break...

The location of this hotel is so unique and you can enjoy the fabulious lakeview without interruppted by others. The food is also very good. The only downside is the room facility is not as great as it supposed to be, but I hope you can live with that. Again, must try if you visits Hangzhou.

If you intend to enjoy quiet moments of Westlake, this is the right hotel to stay at for its private garden is strictly for room guests that you can walk around the lake during early morning or evening. Leifeng Tower is just some distance away. Although interior of the rooms look slightly dated, they are still comfortable and clean. You...

Unusual luxury hotel, with mainly Chinese clientele but warm, considerate welcome to English-speaking guests. Internet as wifi or LAN cable in guest room. Diverse dining and lakeside tea options. Business center, ironing board, hair dryer, similar modern options. A great spot to stay onbeauriful West Lake.
