Booked this hotel via Ctrip for 298rmb stayed for a night in standard twin room. Taxi from HZ airport cost about 90rmb ( approx.40 min w/o traffic). As we only needed a few hours rest we chose this hotel for the morning highspeed train to shanghai. The walking distance to station about 15 minutes i would say(with luggage) - front...

Visited Redstar Culture Hotel in Hangzhou in September 2012. The best point about Red Star Culture is the proximity to the Hangzhou Railway Station. It is just 3 minutes walk if you took the shortcut by the alley of the building. (front of hotel - walk diagionally right and then, keep left, walk by the alley of the building) towards...

Hotel situated at a walking distance to the railway station in Hangzhou. The building is a fairly high and relatively recent. We have only experimented the room for single. The hotel is not really close to the lake and main touristic areas and you have to take a cab to reach them. The rooms are quite nice. Not very large...

Not really a four star, a bit old. The single room is very small. Staff are ok but not great, I feel it's over priced for what it is but just around the corner from the trai station and the airport shuttle bus. So for people flying out of Hangzhuo with airasia it's a good place to stay for the...

This was one of the four hotels that we stayed in during our trip to Hangzhou and Shanghai in October last year. I chose this hotel for its walking distance from the HZ train station after reading about the long waiting line for taxis. We were arriving from Shanghai in the evening. This hotel may have been one of the...

When you walk into the lobby of this hotel, it's hard not to be impressed. Hotels in China seem to be built on purpose to impress on first glance. The rooms are another matter. The first time I stayed here, the 8th floor room was in need of a bit of cleaning and thoroughly deserved a 3 star rating. However,...

Found this hotel thru Agoda and rate was attractive. For the price I paid, this hotel exceeded my expectation. Arriving from Shanghai via high speed train, you just walk 5 minutes and you are in the hotel. Room is standard in size, clean and with the basic amenities. Yes, it is old and outdated, but it seems management has maintained...

Stayed here two nights as part of a 24 day trip around China. It appears to be an older hotel in need of refurbishment. Rooms were dark in colour with minimal lighting and appeared drab. Hard beds. Breakfast was acceptable. Free wifi in lobby. View from window was of large office block opposite. Various stains on carpet and moldy bathroom...

I stayed here for a two day mini-vacation in Hangzhou, not only did the front desk totally ruin and mess up my reservation, once i got to my room, the ventilation was horrible in the washroom, smell of feces, and to my shock, there was a small mice near the mini- table.
