I took the metro to Dingan Road, exited by Exit D onto the main road and walked down the road for a few minutes until I reached Nangsongyu Street which is on the right. Then it was about 700m down that road until I saw the youth hostel symbol on the left (past McDonalds, a main road or two and a coffee shop).
